Thought I was extreme till then. Once a month I do farmfoods (with vouchers) for all frozen, then Home B's for toiletries /cleaning / etc then Lidl (prefer aldi but on this shop estate these are near each other) for fresh. Car Boot heaving and is a big spend but my cupboards / freezer groaning and lasts for ages. Plus I do 1 asda a month for all my SP stuff. Other 2 weeks aldi.

    Never been in a waitrose..

Used to have asda delivery every week but have learnt the error of my ways.

A mixed day on eBay today. Some really good quality, kid's clothes I'm selling for a mate, didn't sell at 99p, but others did. More annoyingly, someone is returning things "as it is marked", when I know it isn't. Hey ho.

Lovely day with family though, and now curled up with dog, DH, woodburner & Ocean's 13 on the box. :-)

i have just sold my first thing on ebay yesterday and i have to admit i am a bit nervous about it, what if the person decides it has a small mark on it ( when i know it hasnt) etc, i got the £20.50 from them ( will post it tomorrow so that it is away on time) but paypal have taken their fees already and i still have to figure out how to pay the ebay fees, by the time i have posted it i think there will be a fair bit of the £20.50 swallowed up tbh
  • Well done El, it gets easier I promise :):)

P@ypal do take their fees quickly. Our eb@y charges come through to CC monthly. I can't remember whose diary I read this on, but they suggested taking photos and doing text as you get stuff ready then you only need to load up. It has made life easier for us :):)

Most transactions I've done as buyer, or seller, have been fine. You just remember the annoying ones!

Highly bizarrely, unhappy customer has now decided they don't want a refund after all....

Sent out 7 eBay parcels today and had managed to misweigh one, which was then too heavy for 2nd class and has cost me about £3 more to send than I asked payment for. Lessons learned and all that....

On the plus side, the bank has finally updated the "OPs last month" page and we managed to OP £1,009 in February. Really pleased with that. Made up of eBay sales and various stealings of money from the current account under a range of guises (rounding down, tidying and just feeling bl@@dy minded at times). :rotfl::rotfl:
