    Bad shop, naughty shop....:-)

Annoyed with Waitrose (& myself) though. I used their car park, so needed to spend £5. I picked up some guacamole and soured cream, some fajitas, a Mother's Day card and 2 of their own brand microwave rices. Almost £13!!!!

Next time I'm parking in Aldi and risking their stupid made up fines....

Yes, I succumbed to asd@ today and spent almost £63. I did get an anniversary card and a Mother's Day card and 2 hair dyes-they were a tender for the 2. I also got 2 large blocks of cheese and ...about 5 carrier bags full in all. :o still thinking how much more I could have paid off the bills- but we have to eat. :)

Well that wasn't in the plan!

DH spent yesterday evening tinkering with his marine fish tank and found a huge crack in the glass side of the sump (Smaller tank that sits in the cupboard and holds all the hardware). Cue us spending a couple of hours siphoning water out and hoping it didn't all give way.

By 9am we were in the aquatics shop, where the rules of "need, not want" don't seem to apply particularly well....

Big bill later but happy DH and it is the nearest he has to a life of his own (mainly being kept busy by roles of commuter, worker and Dad)!

Back to finding stuff for fleabay!!

Finally did the hoovering (there came a point of needing it that even I could not ignore) and even steam mopped the floor.

However, by the time I stopped prevaricating I had done an enormous list of jobs that I had been doing, to put off said cleaning.

I even changed my BT package, to avoid extra usage fines and paid the year's rental in advance to get the reduction in price.

    Very little to report.

OP'd £12 from sale of something I bought in to sell, but bar that, only real achievement was a lovely dog walk in the sun!

Yay, I sold the last of the kids' clothes that I was selling for a mate. Made £40 which we are splitting between us.

We've spent more than usual this month, so there won't be much to move to savings, but they were considered purchases in the main, so that's life!

The benefit of OP tiny amounts has been that it has really focussed me on tiny amounts spending wise. £2 becomes harder to fritter when it might be e total amount I can op that day!

Yep I noticed that myself ... I rarely carry cash now ... I do love switching especially if it will give me a Tilly tidy :)
