Hello to everyone
I’m relatively new to all this and only been here for a couple of months, so I’m not too sure of all the ins and outs here. I just have a quick question I wondered if anyone could be kind enough to answer for me. I did a T’s order online on Wednesday and, along with other items, I ordered 3 Vimto Cordials 1.5LT @ £1.53 each. My order was delivered on Thursday and I have been charged £2.65 a bottle (I would have only ordered one bottle at this price if I had known) I didn’t know this could happen and I thought I would be charged the price I ordered it at! Someone shout at me to start ironing and stop looking at booking holidays:eek::eek::eek:I'm in one of those moods where I could just book one and it's not mse at all(Well the ones I'm looking at are'nt:o) I need to do some proper research but my finger keeps hovering over the "book" button:(
Nikki book the holiday - just be a bit MSE first and make sure no-one is offering the holiday cheaper - you need a treat for all the hard MSE-ing you do throughout the year(then you will feel like doing the ironing with a smile)

Hiya hun, have a read , found this on Mse.....where else! If you Google freezers in sheds there is lots of info out there.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=10725789&postcount=11
and this
http://www.shopwiki.co.uk/l/garage-freezers
I've got 2 freezers in my garage, a chest and an upright and get a bit of condensation on the upright, a Hotpoint, but none on the chest freezer, a Beko. It's this one, bought specifically to run in the garage
http://www.appliancesonline.co.uk/product/CF1300APW-Beko-Chest-Freezer-White-25169.aspx?cm_mmc=AffiliateWindow-_-71959-_-DeepLink-_-na
My old chest freezer was really bad for condensation, and grew black mould on the outside eeewwww! Used to clean it regularly with bleach, but it still came back. That's why I looked for one like the Beko.
Someone told me that they used a greenhouse heater in their shed that housed their freezer and it helped.
Hth xx
Thanks, should have investigated this when dd first spoke about getting one, however they picked one up in the sale for next to nothing so they'll just have to see how it goes. At least now we all know they do specific ones for a garage or shed.
Enjoy your weekend - I'll catch up with you next week:):)

I have had this with T's deliveries before and have aways got a refund
Email them quoting the price you ordered at and you will most likely get a
refund against your payment card. Tell them you only ordered as they were
at the price quoted at the time of order and there was no indication of the
price increasing by delivery time. hthSmileand hopefully the world will smile back

I feel awful, female dog has whined all night. I went down a few times to tell her off and give her a reassuring cuddle then realised she may only have been doing it so often because I was going to her. I stopped about 1am and after that just banged the floor with my foot, don't know if that stopped it but I certainly got to sleep so I assume it did.
Spiralingdown, I gather from your posts that your dogs have been living with someone else for a while and it is perfectly normal that they would feel unsettled and possibly a bit whiney in their first few days, even weeks! They are adjusting to living in a new house, with different places to sleep, different people and a different routine.
I know it is horrible if your sleep is being disturbed, but telling the dog off and banging on the floor may just unsettle her further & prolong the problem.
I would strongly advise you get an Adaptil DAP diffuser: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Adaptil-Diffuser-Pack-Appeasing-Pheromone/dp/B001A2X950
These can work wonders in helping to calm dogs that are worried.SpiralingDown wrote: »I think I'll have to put them to bed earlier tonight because I think that was the main problem, I had to wake them up to put them in so may have done so when they were already in their night sleep.
Where do the dogs sleep? Are the they warm enough? Do they have enough space to sleep without crowding each other? Can they hear anything rattling or banging outside or inside the house that might unsettle them?
I only mention these things as silly little things like a fence panel flapping in the wind or the dog feeling cold can make them unsettled.
Did the guy looking after them have a set routine? They might be expecting a biscuit before bed time or maybe he walked/fed them at different times?
Be patient and I'm sure they will settle.SpiralingDown wrote: »Got to go give them their breakfast and then walk the female, the male has got too strong for me so don't know how I'm gonna tire him out
These interactive dog toys are great for engaging a dogs brain: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_sc_1_12?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=nina+ottosson+dog+toys&sprefix=nina+ottoson%2Caps%2C180
I often use them for dogs that are injured or poorly and can't go for long walks. Plus they are just great fun and lovely to watch a dog use it's brain! I have the tornado and the dog brick.
If the male dog is too strong for you to walk is there anyone else that can help you walk them? One of the worst things for any dog is not to have the stimulation of going for a daily walk and this can result in boredom, chewing etc around the house.SpiralingDown wrote: »They have these, the male still pulls regardless of what I use and the female fights and twists so much that I did leave it on all day for a week or so just so she got used to having it on and just taking it off at night. She still doesn't like it and goes mental when she feels it going on!
Haltis and Gentle Leader head collars can be great for some dogs but others hate them and leaving on something she hates for a whole week would have probably just made her hate it more. They are not designed to be worn for hours on end. Much better to introduce something like a head collar or muzzle for very short periods at a time and make it as pleasant an experience as possible by giving the dog very high value treats or even a new toy.
If you are not able to access a training class or behaviorist right now, then there is a wealth of information on behaviorist Gwen Bailey's website:
http://www.dogbehaviour.com/
I would also highly recommend the following book on canine body language by Turid Rugaas. Its only a small book, very easy to read and it really helps us humans to understand what dogs are trying to communcate to us! You can read some of the pages on the "Look Inside"

Good luck, I really hope things settle down for you all soon,

Thankyou. Actually I did as I bought someone the £1 cosy socks mentioned yesterday from M&S.
I've read the first Page so. Think I understand the rules I just hope I get all my abbreviations right
I'll probably sit quietly for a few more days until I get the gist of how all this works
