Just back from sainsbobs, had said to dad about the fish deal so we HAD to go, loves fish he does.

2 small pieces of cod, about 1.00 pound each
    2 lemon sole 1.50 each

    went thru self service
-3.00 for the save the fish promotion
-1.00 moc wys 5.00 from the booklet at the fish counter

so that was 1.00 for 4 pieces of fish:D

    hth.

two coupons on the back page of the booklet have expiry dates 28/2 and 31/3, one per transaction, till wont let you use unless you spend 5 pound at the fish counter, s'posedly. 1.50 from the free fish counted for me towards the fiver
  • Hi all, posting then backtracking......

Went to Sainsbobs for my free fish, lady in front was offered it as she bought salmon she said no thanks!!! So I piped up oh do you mind if I have it for my cats??!!! She said of course not, so I got 2 lots and it went through the till together. Thing is I have to give my extra free one to the cats now as I would feel bad if I didn't..........hope they like lemon & herb marinade ................

Got the last orange Cooks Collection cast iron casserole dish 4.7 litres down from £50 to £15 and a little milk pan from £7 to £2.10

Went to M&S for dine in - picked dearest stuff - £6.99 wine and went to SS, added some ham on special offer and whoopsied meals, came to £26 odd, then put my £5 voucher in, once I pressed finish and pay it came down to £21 then the Dine in kicked in and it all came down to £14 odd......... yippee!
I like glitching, I like glitching, I like glitching and I like to glitch.....................:j:j:j

Absolutely right - but you know how it is trying to persuade people of the Elite's findings. Just had a chuckle as she has just texted to ask where else she could go....told her to search online.
I dont even bother now its too much like hard work and as we all know things can and do change in a minute, people dont get enough items or the wrong ones and bam it has not worked and who is to blame ? Me .
Only one person Ive told got it straight away (he could not understand why it would work but believed me) and then started trying to find better ways of doing the glitch :D.
Needless to say he has stashes off all sorts now :rotfl:

I havent been and looked in Argos but I am sure Nando's were on the original list on hduk - and fit the meal out/leisure new criteria for the offer, so good luck if you find one.

Nando's/Pizza Hut/Pizza Express/Zizzi and Bella Italia were on the list in store this morning, so you should be able to get some, unless they have altered the offer AGAIN!

Nando's would be worth it, they never have any deals on and the prices are a rip off for some chicken in shed loads of chilli in my opinion. You might as well go to KFC, get the super cheap chicken and roll it around in shed loads of chilli, eat at home with some Latino/Portuguese music playing in the background. Simples :D
Yep, Nandos are on the original list - I picked up 2 gifts cards from Argos earlier this week.

    thanks you three :T:T:T

I'll pick two up today or tomorrow :)

Phew I have managed to catch up before going back to see mum. :T

Quick update, she had an uncomfortable night but they kept topping her up with diamorphine injections until she slept, apparently finally falling asleep at 5.30am this morning. So she was very dopey when I went to visit around 10.30am. Doctor came to see her and she has finally agreed to trial methadone. Has had first dose around lunchtime so it is now a waiting game to see whether it does any good and if it suits her.

It means so much to me to read everyone's posts mentioning mum, thank you all for being there for me. :A:A:A

Hope it works. Even if it doesn't work, they have more options for pain relief, so I'm sure that they will find something that does the trick. Have the mentioned a morphine continuous relief pump?

Pallative care team are really wonderful in hospital setting and I'm sure they will do everything they can to settle your mum and support you.

ALways wondered how they make a living in the winter. They should really be offering hot chocolate with whipped cream on the top.
