Ohh have you got the receipe for your soup please, have made a broccoli and stilton soup from someone on here and it was lovely.

Tomato and basil Soup (serves 2)

    1 medium onion
    1 clove of garlic
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    8 cherry tomatoes/ 3 vine tomatoes
    400g can plum tomatoes
1 tsp of dried basil or 5 fresh leaves
    salt and pepper to taste

Chop onion and tomatoes into small pieces, finely slice the garlic and fry in the olive oil with basil until soft.

Add the tinned tomatoes and salt and pepper. Cover and leave to simmer on a low heat for 30 mins.

Then blitz with a blender to your desired consistency, then check seasoning :)
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

    Hi

If you are on Sada's mailing list, check your inbox/junk ail for an e-mail dated on or around 22 January headed up "Snowed in? Stock up and Save money ....." This includes an incorrect promo for Branston Beans 4 x 410g at £1 per pack. They are in fact £1.95 atm - the £1 is for the 3 x 410g pack. Stores should be aware of this incorrect advert/promo and have discretion to sell up to 7 packs at the £1 promo price if a customer queries it/quotes the advert/e-mail. I have already received a gift card for the difference on some, and am now thinking of getting some in an A vs S apg shop (sadly the T cheaper price is showing as oos on msm) for a potential double-dip. We love Branston beans :)

Purdy, sorry you're having problems with migraine. Did you see my posts earlier on the thread about peppermint oil? It really helps.
    Hope is not a strategy.
