Got my first £2 gift card today from A's :j

Had to use two apj for 57p and £1-51 so bought big packet Haribo 50p and 2 six bag mixed A's crisps said on shelf 2 packs for £2 .

Off i go SS scan my goods and it wanted me to pay £1-22 me thought thats not correct but paid looked at receipt and i had been charged £1-40 twice for the crisps and no 80p knocked off.

So i went to assistant and she went back to check shelf with me following ;) and :j yes i was right. Off to CS 80p back and i said do i get £2 gift card as well. Guy said yes madam for the inconvenience :T

Snooze you lose, mind every now and then you have to take a hit if you go early ;)
I remember my first 5 double blocks of cheese from asda £25 and no apg (over 2 shops)
But more than made up for it once it kicked in and a little Bea pointed me in the direction of another carrier bag full :T

Absolutely right - but you know how it is trying to persuade people of the Elite's findings. Just had a chuckle as she has just texted to ask where else she could go....told her to search online.

Phew I have managed to catch up before going back to see mum. :T

Quick update, she had an uncomfortable night but they kept topping her up with diamorphine injections until she slept, apparently finally falling asleep at 5.30am this morning. So she was very dopey when I went to visit around 10.30am. Doctor came to see her and she has finally agreed to trial methadone. Has had first dose around lunchtime so it is now a waiting game to see whether it does any good and if it suits her.

It means so much to me to read everyone's posts mentioning mum, thank you all for being there for me. :A:A:A

I've not had a go at the gift card at argos but do they do nandos gift cards? as I plan on going there next week.. wondering if it's worth getting £40 worth for only £30.

Nando's/Pizza Hut/Pizza Express/Zizzi and Bella Italia were on the list in store this morning, so you should be able to get some, unless they have altered the offer AGAIN!

Nando's would be worth it, they never have any deals on and the prices are a rip off for some chicken in shed loads of chilli in my opinion. You might as well go to KFC, get the super cheap chicken and roll it around in shed loads of chilli, eat at home with some Latino/Portuguese music playing in the background. Simples :D

Hi Tinyshoes I hope you are ok, I do hope your Mum is more comfortable now and this medication works.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

I havent been and looked in Argos but I am sure Nando's were on the original list on hduk - and fit the meal out/leisure new criteria for the offer, so good luck if you find one.

Yep, Nandos are on the original list - I picked up 2 gifts cards from Argos earlier this week.
