The prepaid visa cards in boots are not top-up-able
Not the ones I'm working with anywayApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Evening guys. I bailed Bess and Molly out of jail/kennels this afternoon, took them straight out for a walk round very snowy field, then showered them both when we got back. Then I fed them, combed Molly (Bess will not be anywhere near a brush, comb, scissors or nail clippers ) and, after a mad half hour, they both settled down to sleep, tired but clean
. Lovely to have them back but the £455 bail made me realise how long I'd been away  They are now booked in from Thursday 31st Jan to Tuesday 5th February, for when I help my friends Steve & Andy move into their new flat (I am driving the van as I am not much good carrying things in/out), but I plan to be home for the rest of February so the dogs are at home with me for a while, to be fair to them .......... and my bank balance
Although the roads are clear here, there is still loads of snow about, not that the dogs complained as they rushed about in it today. I will try to puts some pics on here tomorrow of them in the snow. Just seen the weather forecast and we are due more snow tomorrow evening & night
See that 3dogs has been off on her travels, enjoy it hun. Hope the knees are OK.
Was good fun thanks but had lots of knee pain with all the underground stairways in London. My left knee went on me a few times and my right knee was hurting all the time due to the extra strain on it. Been ok since I got home thoughI just nipped home for a very quick catch up and a bit of lunch.
Waiting for mum to be taken into hospice. Pain is so severe, something desperately needs to be done for her.
Don't think I will be around much today somehow. Just going back to meet Macmillan nurse
Sorry to hear that Tinyshoes. It must be so hard to see her in such pain for long periodsMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

oh well, since you ask:D......don't want to bore anyone:rotfl:
one of the chicks we hatched in the summer ( first time try:D) has turned out to be a boy chicken. He has started cocka doodle doing this week:eek:...and it's loud...really loud:eek: and he starts at about 5.40 am......not good for keeping a friendly relationship with the neighbours. But I love him....he's called buster and he's the tamest chicken ever:A
Anyway....if you read my post about picking up a free garden box at the tip? the plan is to house him in a brick outhouse we have ( I think it may have been an outside loo in a former life)......I have sized the garden box up an it fits.....I have bought some foam insulating panels to line the garden box ( with no nails:D) if i can cut the light out he should settle and crow later:)
so in theory. I can keep buster, and soundproof him, whilst making him happy and comfy....I really want it to work:)0 -

Ignore my ignorance, but why does it need soundproofing, if it is kept dark. Will he !!!!-a-doodle-doo in his 'house? (or is the soundproofing to stop him waking from external noises?)“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

B00ts card active straight away. I walked from argus to b00ts but they didn't have prepaid visas so I got them to put all on one card instead to make it easier to handle tomorrow. Balances were all active on each of them already
Prepaid visa was used within 3 hours so probably also immediateApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

it needs sound proofing because he was crowing at silly times in the morning. light is a factor....but he was doing it in dark as well. he is basically like a horny tennager:D:rotfl:0 -
It was 3 hours gap for me tonight. I think it would have worked instantly but I had stuff to do in between so couldn't test it
Seems to be some variability in how quickly cards involved in the whole deal can be used.
I bought 6 Debs cards from Argos this morning then another 12 at about 3pm. Went straight to Debs. The 6 from earlier in the day could be swiped and the system recognised them. The other 12 showed as invalid when swiped but could be found by the system when the full number was manually entered.
I'd also bought, at about 2pm, £50 of Argos cards from T intending to use them for the 3pm purchase but they were not recognised even when input manually. I'm hoping they are recognised when I go and try in the morning to buy more cards.:)Awaiting a new sig0 -

Well, I think that has tempted me enough, may have to have a play tomorrow if I get the time (and they have not pulled it!)“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
