She has been under the care of a lovely Macmillan nurse for the last year with me as her carer doing the nitty gritty jobs. But she has been taken into the local hospice today. She could not carry on suffering the pain and all her meds had been tweaked to the max. She resisted trialling methadone before but she is at a place now where she will try anything to take away the pain.
