It is possibly a 20 second walk between Argus and shoes in B0rehamw00d boulev@rd ret@il park. Anyone beat that?

Watf0rd H@rlequ1n centre would take you about 2 minutes, but all sheltered or indoors.

    Edgw@re Br0@dw@lk centre 1 minute, partly outdoors.

    Who can find the closest?

In answer to Patty, I've bought in Argus and spent in Next, not tried Shoes.

Now that you mention I did see this type of card. But there are others that you don't have to register. ;)

that's good. I was just worried there was going to be catches and didn't want people to be caught out:)
  • Just caught up in time for me to get some sleep.

While checking Facebook I spotted a post from my cousins DS about school, he's been suspended for 'squaring' up to a teacher  don't know what he'd done but another lad has came in and said he should have punched him one .
He has said his mum won't be going up to the school until monday at the earliest because he wants tomorrow off, !!!!!! i'd be up there first thing tomorrow morning with him in tow to appologise for what he's done. I just can't believe she'll let him have his own way after what he's done  she's came in and said it can wait until Monday! If it was my DS I would have had him up to the school as soon as I found out but she can't be bothered, now what sort of views is this going to give him? It's utter madness, yet if it was the other way about she'd have went up and caused hell.
I've to deal with parents like this at least once a month, they think their little 'angels' can't do any wrong yet we're the ones picking up the pieces when their 'angels' start. Either that or they've no control over their kids and the kids dictate what they will or won't do. We've a pair of 8 yr olds in one of our groups who won't do a thing they're told and are on the verge of being excluded but the parents admit that the kids control the situation at home and even at school no one can do a thing with them. They constantly go missing and have bullied so many kids in their football team that they are the only ones left  yet no one says anything about it.
One of the kids is my mum's cousins grandson and she said she won't have him in the house because he picks on the other 8 grandkids and wrecks the house if he doesn't get his own way - she blames her DD and the other granny because they've given in to him so much yet his older and younger brothers are fantastic kids.
Who knows what's went wrong there, we've tried everything with him and his friend and the final thing is for the two of them to be excluded for the sake of the other 20 kids in the group.

Sorry went off on a rant but now def time for bed
    Goodnight all.

I liked the trees but for practical reasons they had to go.....my dream of being as self sufficient as possible ( or as my lovely old neighbour puts it 'the good life' :rotfl: )

I bet your nephew makes a good living! Last year a work colleague of mine paid over £100 to have an apple tree cut down:eek:and she let the cutter downers take the wood away:eek: and she thought they had done her a favour!! I didn't slap her.....but I felt like it:rotfl:

£100 for an apple tree is a bit steep especially if they can recycle the wood. I get charged about £60-70 for the big trees I wouldn't dream of tackling. Seems reasonable to me for a few hours work involving 2-3 people and he has to pay VAT. He can't yet afford a big chipping machine for his business (mainly landscaping) so his disposal costs (legal and environmentally sound) can be quite high.

aau1 do you mind me asking this.....what has your initial spend been converted into now?

I decided to invest £100ish in this as you get bigger returns the more you spend. Currently sitting with £190 b00ts cards so will be going for £175 visas tomorrow (that will use up 3x£53.95 and 1x£27.95 so cost of £189.80)

So all being well my £100 will be turned into £175 visas and 20p b00ts :rotfl:

I'll then use the £175 visas to buy £230 b00ts,etc

  • I have just done a rough calculation , 3 visits to Argos and Boots gets me about £140.00 at a cost of about £80.00.
Sounds good to me ( if it works ) I seem to get trouted everywhere.

AAU1, how long do the Boots vouchers/visa cards respectively take to activate, or is it simply a case of walking from one shop to another/rinse/repeat?
