Right I am trying to get me head aroun this - when I go back to argus to get more shoes cards...clearly I virtually empty the visa cards and then return to shoes.

At this point do I top up the exact same visa cards with no activation fee involved 2nd time around?

The visas can't be reloaded so bin them in argus once you've bought more Mr Shoes. You have to pay activation of £2.95 for the £25 and £3.95 for the £50

IM also struggling on this one a little too. Now before I start, I know I am wrong and AAU1 is right (as usual) but the giftcards have 25% off, so to get £75 worth (pro-rota) in Argos would cost £56.25, so is this not adding to the costs?? (I.E. but 2x£40 of giftcards, making £80, would only cost you £60 in argos).IYSWIM :o

Having to pay the activation charge does add to the cost so it's not as good as the straight 25% promo

The benefit is you can spend ANYWHERE visa is accepted. And argus happens to be one such place ;)

I see - right have to go and have a look at me spreadsheet again to factor in reactivation fees on return visit:)

I find that people either hate the programme or loveit. Not much in between:)

  • I wonder if you got there after me- the girl on ss had just learned that they were scanning cheap and was holding some back in a basket.

Westie was dire tonight- think worrywart had been there....fair enough.

Worry-wart hasn't been near Westie in a couple of weeks. Too far to travel on the odd chance of a womble when I know that's your local ;):p

Found a womble today with a multisave in our favour ---- dated 17th :(

Evening everyone, I have a question that is very off-topic.

FIL has a stamp collection that we'd like valued but none of us have a clue where to begin. Does anyone on here have experience of such or can point me in the direction of a relevant thread?

    Thanking you muchly :D

Stanley Gibbons always used to be the obvious one they are in Central London you should be able to find them by googling or maybe an auction house, google stamp valuers or valuations I was watching one of those type of programmes the other day if stamps are in an album fixed by stamp hinges that knocks quite a lot off of their value :( I was surprised
