Re the Argos Gift Card 2 x £10 for £15 and 2 x £20 for 30, it's worth highlighting it includes Boots, Next, TKMaxx, Debenhams and Arcadia groups, Pizza Express and many more.

People on HUKD have also confirmed they have bought the Next cards and used them successfully to pay off their Next account - all the info is on the HUKD thread here but it's very interesting!

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/any-2-10-gift-cards-for-15-any-2-20-gift-cards-for-30-from-argos-instore-only-1451189#comments

It is on Grabbit too but more info on HUKD...

Anyone know whether you can use Argos giftcards to buy these giftcards. I have loads fron doing surveys and they are mounting up. This would be a great way to use them up if it is possible.....!
  • From a womble I found today but for 17/01/13

    A v S
1 x Quaker Oat So Simple Express Pot Golden Syrup (57g... £0.98 £0.99
    4 x Quaker Oat So Simple Express Pot Original (50g) £4.00 £3.46

    A v M
1 x Quaker Oat So Simple Express Pot Golden Syrup (57g... £0.98 £0.99
    4 x Quaker Oat So Simple Express Pot Original (50g) £4.00 £3.50

There is a multibuy on these that's not being recognised, 5 for £4.50. It's not much of a saving really and probably fixed by now but thought I would post incase there's anyone who likes to buy these.

the receipt is a few days old so I wouldn't rush out :)

I also found this on a womble dated today

    A v S
    2 x Ribena Blackcurrant Drink (1L) £4.00 £2.88

These are 2.86 each or multibuy 2 for £4. This multibuy was recognised but still cheaper in S

Some have said yes and some no (anyone would think it was A$da or T3sc0 lol!)

I think it says on the Argos giftcard (or the T's & C's somewhere) that you can't buy other giftcards with them but worth checking first, you never know!

From Grabbit (thanks Claire21 ) and HUKD ( thanks to short)

Buy retailer's giftcards from Argos (not Argos own giftcards) and get 2 x £10 cards for £15 or 2 x £20 cards for £30...

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4402545

Apologies if already posted I've read all the pages about it on HUKD and it's all a bit of a blur I couldn't remember if I saw it on here or not!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

When you read the thread on HUKD, it is interesting that people are paying off their Next account with gift cards bought from Argos (at 25% discount) and some have reported being able to use Argos vouchers which they bought from Mr Ts (for extra points). Genuis if it works and doesn't get closed down quickly.

    Afternoon folks
Its a secret 66 so sorry for your loss x take care and look after yourself.
Hugs to anyone else that needs them.

While having a quick read back was reading about ebay, i sell a few secondhand items on there but do always send recorded.

One lady sends me a message and says ive not recieved my cardi, so i said well was posted on xxx date we have had a weekend so should be with you soon, next day another message still not recieved my cardi can i have a refund? so i checked royal mail and lo and behold there is her signature!

I sent a message back, sorry you will not be getting refund as you have recieved it and signed for it :rotfl::rotfl:
This is why i always send recorded , at the end of the day they have a choice is to buy from you or not, has not affected my sales sending this way.:)
I will send recorded also in future, I used get annoyed when sellers would send things recorded as I'm usually at work so have the hassle of having collect them from the post office. However now I understand why they do this.

It's a shame that this is happening as I remember when I first started ebaying, you could post a cd or game for less than £1 but now the minimum cost of any recorded parcel is £3.10. I know we can charge to the buyer but it just means they won't bid as high if the post is too high.

The combination of postage costs, bad buyers and rising eBay and Paypal fees has spoiled what was once a nice and simple way of making some extra cash.

If I had a Next account I would do it!

I think I'll get some cards for Boots if I can, I don't really spend a lot on "me" as I can't afford it but I think a bit of planning ahead for glitches is in order and Boots would be the best option to hang on to them for a good opportunity!;)

Finally caught up, it's only taken me 3 days
My condolences to its a secret 66 and lookingforabargain.

DS finally got fully better over the weekend but was so crabby and nasty to everyone on Thursday that I got so peed off with him I told him just to stay in his room on Friday. For once he actually listened and only came out of his room to get meals, thankfully he was feeling a lot better on Friday morning and did appologise to everyone that night after I had a better talk with him at dinner time.
I think the few naps he'd had on Friday did help, every time I checked in on him he was asleep and even went to the extreme of putting the baby monitor on so I knew he wasn't faking!
He's now itching to spend his birthday money and wants a bridge camera. He's seen one he has enough money for because he saved his Xmas money too knowing he may get a better item.
This is the one he wants

Would anyone know if it would be good or not please? I haven't a clue mine is just a wee point and shoot
hiya, I have not got a clue about cameras either but this one looks good value and the reviews are good too http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/fujifilm-finepix-s2980-14-megapixel-18x-zoom-black-bridge-camera-sainsburys-save-1452978

I am sure they are doing Pizza Hut gift cards at Argos as well, so those would come in handy if they had deals on at Pizza Hut. Also, if you order online, they tend to do those "half price or better" offers, if you could pay with a gift card, it would work out super cheap.

They also had JD Sports gift cards, so those could be handy for fellow gym goers who want a bit of a discount.
