I won't send abroad anymore because even though they say its trackable its actually only properly trackable till it leaves the UK:(I did send a parcel to Italy though as the buyer literally begged to be allowed to bid but then I sent the item by courier and the buyer paid the cost. But I had far too much hassle with sending abroad so stopped and it hasnt affected my sales, but I suppose it depends on what you're selling.
Since postage has gone up I send normal 2nd class to keep costs down, but anything over £30 I send out recorded. Ebay has got harder and you really need to keep on top of the scams on there:(

I had a buyer say a dancing mickey was broke. Wad fully working when i sent it. After a few emails they returned but i filmed us opening it, pressed its foot and guess what....it worked. I sent this to her, refunded the item but not the p&p both ways. U av to be on the ball so much.

With regards to the 2 for £20 gift cards for £30, how does one go about getting these? Do I have to go into an Argos store or can it be done online?

Could someone please shed some light on this? I've had a stinker of a day at work with my nutcase colleague who happens to have kittens each time something small goes wrong!

Very enjoyable day with my friends in London and was delighted to see the very famous Marilyn Monroe white dress in the exibition:TI did not think they had got it but right at the end there it was in its full glory and had been loaned to them by a private collector.I would have been so disappointed if it had not been there as it is so Iconic.

    Off now for a cuppa:coffee:and a catchup.

Could you use the pizza hut gift card with the tea time deal at pizza hut or just full price menu. tia x

I agree. I sell abroad but after last October when I sent 26 parcels to various countries by International Signed For or Airsure when 4 parcels never showed as delivered. One also ended up in Germany instead of Portugal and eventually came back. I am still awaiting settlement of 4 claims from Royal Mail and so far have only received one acknoweledgement. I use Parcels to Go for heavy ones inland and they also offer trackable services abroad for a reasonable cost. For inland parcels worth under £50.00 I just use 1st class with a certificate of posting.
