It finishes on sunday 27th jan and I agree with your daughter there is so much to see you run out of time.

What surprised me was that in some parts they allowed them to try on clothes.
Probably reproductions but daughter and a couple of her friends loved it. They said that the rest of the class were boring because they just looked at things.
Trouble is it's so expensive to travel down there from here and we'd have to stay overnight in a hotel. Maybe when travelodge have another sale.
Bet you had a fantastic time.

Just back from T's with 2 breakfast deals ,what a shambles.
No tea bags , none of the eggs which compare to A's , not a soul in the store knew anything about it , not even the manager , said it was probably "store specific " yeah that old chestnut.
They even rang another local store and they knew nothing either.
Anyway I got sausages , 2 of the other eggs , 1 mushroom and 1 bread ,took them to CS to check , she said "I don't think it will will work " she was amazed when it did.
As usual we know more than they do.
I won't get as much pp back because of the eggs but I wasn't coming home without it as it is quite a way from me.

Why am I not surprised. (this is my local too):rotfl:

Instore only I believe Mimi, you can't buy Argos's own cards but they do sell a lot for other retailers, you may like the Boots one!

Got some Boots cards and some Debenhams cards. What the hell. I am sure they will come to good use. Off to get some more tomorrow.

There were JD Sports and New Look ones available too. :p
  • Finally caught up, it's only taken me 3 days
My condolences to its a secret 66 and lookingforabargain.

DS finally got fully better over the weekend but was so crabby and nasty to everyone on Thursday that I got so peed off with him I told him just to stay in his room on Friday. For once he actually listened and only came out of his room to get meals, thankfully he was feeling a lot better on Friday morning and did appologise to everyone that night after I had a better talk with him at dinner time.
I think the few naps he'd had on Friday did help, every time I checked in on him he was asleep and even went to the extreme of putting the baby monitor on so I knew he wasn't faking!
He's now itching to spend his birthday money and wants a bridge camera. He's seen one he has enough money for because he saved his Xmas money too knowing he may get a better item.
This is the one he wants
