Afternoon just having a quick catchup as have had a laundry day today washing and ironing and then decided to sort out my makeup box and throw out all the old stuff ,so quite a productive day.I must admit I am getting a bit off cabin fever now as not used to staying in for so long but so afraid of falling and breakin something:eek:and do not feeling like venturing out on foot until it is safe to do so.

Ooops, should add these signs are what I put on my shop door. After I got robbed and put down on the floor, I decided I wanted to see people's faces as they entered. People are trying the door and then walking away though.

Is it possible that by obscuring the door with so many signs, you are putting people off coming in.

Maybe just have one clear sign. Or better still, remember that not everyone wants to rob you and go back to having the door unlocked?
It is very difficult to overcome that feeling of fear and anxiousness, but it is worth trying.

Shops need to feel welcoming and easy to use - don't forget that humans are quite lazy as a race and if it is easier to move on to the next shop then we will.

Sorry if that sounds like I have trivialised your ordeal, I don't mean that at all. I just tend to work on the principle that not every dog in the world wants to bite me, so I shouldn't be afraid of dogs just because one bit me years ago. Not every customer wants to harm you or rob you
