Happy Birthday to you Mhoc :bdaycake:hope you have a wonderful day.PetuliaGristle wrote: »Hi all, catching up on yesterday's posts and just popping in. We took cat to vets this morning, as his cheek swelled up yesterday. It's an infected scratch, so they took him in straight away to anaesthetise him and to drain the infection. dh just picked him up, he's still very sleepy but was growling at the vet (he is cute but grumpy). Good news is he's okay but unfortunately procedure not covered by our pet insurance so £156 vet bill this month.
Hugs to all who need them
Hope everyone has a good day and stays safe0 -
Just decided to go for a quick whoopsie in T's tonight with Nannylala. I bought my fruit and veg in Lidls on Thursday because it was easier and to be honest its not a patch on T's. The satsumas were really thin skinned and hard to peel, new potatoes were 'orrible, bananas were titchy, the tomatoes were hard and not ripe and I've just eaten some of the grapes and half of them are manky:(The onions were ok and so was the lettuce but its back to T's for me. Just got to try and remember what time they whoopsy on a Saturday where I want to go:)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0

How big is it these are 80l sizes on fuzzguns photo above
50L, so they would fit in but with too much spare stuff around the top showing. Would spoil the effect of having a posh stainless steel Brabantia and Lady Artha would not be amused:( Proper Brabantia ones, although very strong, are too expensive. I usually buy Aldi/Sada/Tesco look alikes:)Awaiting a new sig0 -

Glad he's ok. My Auntie took her cat to have a couple of teeth removed and the rest cleaned yesterday £480:eek: Daylight robbery but we'll pay it because they're part of the family.

Yesteray we had to take our dog to the vet and saw a new vet in the practise. I didnt really "take" to him and neither did our dog:( Our dog has got a bit of a limp and he told us it could be arthritis, a bone infection or cancer of the leg!! And if it was cancer of the leg they would take the leg off:eek::eek: He was talking about our dog like he was a bit of meat:(He said he needed to be xrayed in 3 places and anaesthetised, at a cost of £460:eek::eek::eek:Now I'll pay whatever to get him better but that just sounded way over the top.So I spoke to Qpranger when I got back and her vet is really good. Phoned him and got a quote for £240-£260 for exactly the same thing:)So we are going there for a second opinion on Monday.
Vets are something I've never shopped about with and I've used the same one for 11 years and if he hadnt have been so horrible about my baby I would have stayed with them. But it just goes to show its worth checking prices;)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
Afternoon All.
Happy birthday moc.
Queen of cheap i started weightwatchers again this week.
Though i cannot do online, i need the fear factor of stepping on the scales:eek:. I want to lose 2 stone as well. Think i need to give up sugar in my tea, as i dont seem to have enough left for treats, after using 1 for each cuppa.:( The ff glitch was lovely, but too yummy.
Had to buy my first cereal this week after asda summer glitch, and only 12 cans of coke left. Please please glitch fairy could we have another awesome glitch.
Hope everyone safe in the snow, we have about 2 inches.
Dog was very disappointed when the boys came home from school yesterday, as they didnt want to go out in it anymore. snow balled out from school. so she had to go out and find some one else to play with. She absolutely loves it, she shakes with anticipation as the snowballs are made.
loving the dexter pictures.:)0 -
I am going around in circles trying to work out some logic as to why the multibuy glitch only happens on certain days
A few weeks ago it happened on a sat and sun 2 weeks in a row then this week it happened on mon and thurs
Trying to think what was common on all those days
Then again probably is no logic
my head hurts lol0 -
