Yes. We rarely use black bin bags as we have a wheelie bin outside and a big brabantia flip top in the utility. Now if the brabantia fit bags were 50p then I'd be doing a David.:rotfl:Awaiting a new sig0 -
hi all hope everyone is well today and the snow not to bad
happy birthday MHOC. thanks for all the new congratulations re grandson both doing well
just to finish my very hectic week last night we lost electricity, then phone went dead and it was snowing hard and very windy,
luckily log fire to keep us warm, and wind up radio pan on fire for hot water so was not to bad,
this morning after me saying we can get out as we have a landrover we were snowed in :eek: out tiny lane was under up to 5ft of drifted snow from the mountain oh and ds2 walked both directions on top of the wall no way through even digging,
we could cope but needed to get to animals luckily our neighbour who is related to oh could get to digger and has spent the last 2 hours clearing snow so we could get to the main road :j:j
going to try to get to dd with supplies today, her shopping or coal never came on Friday, as her road is partially opened so if car cant make it oh will take tractor0 -
Hello eyeryone, long time lurker here!! First ever post, mainly because I have never had anything to contribute, especially to this thread where you are all so clever at this shopping lark.
Anyway, I now have something to tell you - I don't think it has been posted yet. Just been to my local sada and picked up some Alpen bars using the 50p voucher. The Apple & Sultana Light ones and the Chocolate Orange ones were marked up at 62p. Unfortunately I only had one voucher on me so bought a box for 12p. I have popped home to collect my other vouchers and am heading back now to stock up. Hopefully this will give me the incentive to actually try to lose some weight after all the glitchy chocs at Xmas.0 -

Goodbye Lottery I can’t believe the lottery company Camelot could be so insensitive to the current economic plight we are finding ourselves in that they are increasing the cost of a lottery ticket by 100% so it is going to be £2 a go.
I was already a bit stretched buying my lottery tickets I bought lottery ticket’s for the Wednesday and the Saturday = £2, Lotto plus5 =£1 plus the Euro lottery for Tuesday and Friday = £4 so in total it was £7 a week.
I started recently to buy them for a month at a time which made me realise how much I was spending on the lottery £28 a month! Now with the increase it would amount to £36 a month! For a dream! Well my dream of winning the lottery is over.
Camelot has become too greedy and I think they will lose far more than they gain, they won’t be having anymore of my money.Low Carb High Fat is the way forward I lost 80 lbs
Since first using Martins I have saved thousands0 -
