Free 2 pints milk at Waitrose with MOC in their freebie mag. Picked up 6 pints this morning - they were happy for littlies to use mocs too :T
And a very Happy Birthday mhoc :bdaycake:0 -
Hi all, catching up on yesterday's posts and just popping in. We took cat to vets this morning, as his cheek swelled up yesterday. It's an infected scratch, so they took him in straight away to anaesthetise him and to drain the infection. dh just picked him up, he's still very sleepy but was growling at the vet (he is cute but grumpy). Good news is he's okay but unfortunately procedure not covered by our pet insurance so £156 vet bill this month."We have to be kind because everyone is fighting a great, great battle" - Sir Richard Attenborough

thank you, having a very quiet one.
Great find, wish out nearest Waitrose wasn't a 10 mile round trip :T“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Our cats we comb with a fine flea comb most days at the same time we check for any lumps, bumps, bites and scratches. I got vet grade Aloe Vera spray from Amazon and we clean and spray any marks we find. If caught early this stops quite a few vet trips and the ensuing huge bills“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. they had a sign up alongside the milk cages highlighting the offer in the magazine, but my store didn't actually have that much of this type of milk available. Seem to remenber them doing this promotion before and they ran out of the 1%, but honoured the moc for any other own brand milk, eg semi-skimmed :T0 -

Hope your birthday continues to be lovely Mhoc! :T0 -
Hello eyeryone, long time lurker here!! First ever post, mainly because I have never had anything to contribute, especially to this thread where you are all so clever at this shopping lark.
Anyway, I now have something to tell you - I don't think it has been posted yet. Just been to my local sada and picked up some Alpen bars using the 50p voucher. The Apple & Sultana Light ones and the Chocolate Orange ones were marked up at 62p. Unfortunately I only had one voucher on me so bought a box for 12p. I have popped home to collect my other vouchers and am heading back now to stock up. Hopefully this will give me the incentive to actually try to lose some weight after all the glitchy chocs at Xmas.
Were these on the regular shelves or on the reduced section?
Drat, I didn't check the Alpen shelve s this morning, just got the bits I wanted. The worst of it is that my store actually had the mags in again so I've got new MOcs to cut out I'd have gone to the car and cut out Alpen MOCs if our store had them.
In fact I bought the choc orange ones only a few days ago at £1.50
And there is a huge yawning gap in the cupboard on the muesli bar shelf as well.
OH well if the weather holds might venture out a bit further on Sunday“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
