Such sound advice. I had been debating whether to hide DD2s car keys today as she was threatening to go out in her car. I tried to explain that she just was not an experienced enough driver and lots of things she still has to think about rather than being second nature. Luckily she has taken my advice and been at home all day. :)

My youngest has an early shift in the morning so he will set off at about 6 . I am worried sick, only passed his test last summer. He will be ok if he can get off our lane which is a death trap as soon as it starts snowing, so the 1st 5 mins will be nerve wrecking. Work is only 20 mins away, all main road until he gets to the hotel which is on a hill, another section which will be bad.

to add my bit to the debate . I don't know why in Britain we have chosen not to eat horse meat regularly or some others such as dog cat and rat . my grandfather told me during the war he ate all four as other meats were in short supply . I don't think I would choose to eat any of them but if the products were correctly labelled and fit for human consumption others would have the choice .

    I've eaten smoked reindeer

Definitely an acquired taste (i.e it was vile) :D

Well another no spend day - it started At about 8.30 and its being snowing all day as has most of Cheshire

. 2 sensible cats just went out to do what's needed but Ronnie has been in and out all day, can't stay in the house, always has to be on the move.

Made 2 mincemeat cake loaves for slicing up and wrapping in foil for lunch packs.

Oh is annoying me, came home early so he has been cluttering up the house all afternoon - I quite like a quite afternoon to get on with playing on the computer but he can't stand the silence.

Then he made the stew which was very kind of him but he put it on too early so it was ready at 5
He still can't get to grips with the fact that we don't have kids and teens in the house any more that need to be fed early as soon as they get back from school and early enough so they can do some home work before setting off for scouts/guides/ATC etc.
2 of them have left home for goodness sake.
So what to do with the 6 hours before bedtime
And of course oh will be hungry in 3 hours time, rummaging through the. Kitchen, making a mess and yet more washing up.
So annoying and now he is snoring on the sofa and insisting he is wide aWake.

I do this:o, when I am watching(I use that word loosely) t v and even convince myself I am listening to the program but then wake up when it's finished:rotfl:
