    hiya everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying the snow. My dd has had me out most of the day and I am knackered lol.

Does anyone have a link to the Tesco thing where you can recycle ink cartridges please? and how many points do they give please as I have about 20 in my drawer.

    thanks x

Here's the link but the page doesn't seem to be working for me (could just be my laptop though)

Make sure you check your points when you get awarded them as 3 times now they've tried to stiff me!

Thank you so much izzy65 for keeping this up to date. I am sorry I have not been around. :o

I did not get lost at the Boots sale but did in amongst my stashes yesterday trying to clear them away. And this cold snap has made my mum's pain a lot worse so have been round there with no internet access. :(

Good news from Wednesday, DD3 has a conditional place on her preferred college course. :T

If anyone wants to be added to the list and if anyone needs to be striked off can you please PM me as there is no way I can keep up with you all at the moment.

Had to laugh that Dave caught Funkys womble. :rotfl:

Princessmelody, you can go on the list as I'm pretty sure all of us have just not had anything back on wombled APGs and PPs, we won't count points between friends. :)

:j:j:j please don't go away again I am so carp at keeping up,very happy for your DD3 so much easier when they get the placement they want and thank you for adding princessmelody I thought you would :A, hope your mum can get some better pain relief .

    Hi everyone!
Boiler fixed! God bless my father! ( and the plumber he called to fix the boiler!)

So how bad is the snow in Manchester. Meant to be heading your way tomorrow but a bit chicken when it comes to driving in the snow:o?

Ps my lot have only just got home from school and now want to make snowmen in the dark!!!!

Rubbish.... Barely any in Dukinfield, think its mostly high grounds that have it. Although its snowing but nothing serious this way...

I just heard on Five Live that the Food Standards Agency think it's immoral to bin the contaminated burgers. They suggested that they should be given away for free to those who would eat them. They question, therefore, is, would you? !!

Lovely article from the food writer Giles Coren in yesterday's Times. Basically saying what were people expecting from value burgers? Organic farm bred lean mince steak? He thought the horse meat in the burgers was the least of your worries.

DS2 in Fallowfield said there is snow around but the roads and most of the pavements are clear. He told me it hadn't reached him. Bless, his room is high up in tower block uni halls, be a problem for the rest of us if it reached him!
