We just aren't prepared to the same level though and people do need to think of the elderly, and remind them to keep warm and make sure and have hot meals. We are off to my Gran's to check on her and a few neighbours today.

I picked DP up from Bristol airport yesterday - he's Polish so you can imagine how flabbergasted he is watching the news especially as he had to shovel 1/2 metre of snow off his path in SE Poland before catching the bus to the airport.:)
