Heathrow is about 5 or 6 miles away from me and it's quite bad and still snowing heavily:( Quite a lot of accidents so be prepared for delays:(All our schools have closed this afternoon and they don't usually do that We seem to be in a heavy little pocket of snow here:(

French onion soup


big knob of butter
Sliced onions
Crushed garlic
Bit of sugar
Beef stock
Glass of white wine

Heat onion garlic and sugar in melted butter until caramelised- about 30 mins. Use a thick based pan

Add beef stock and wine

Simmer for an hour

If you are feeling extravagant add a bit of brandy at the end

Eat tomorrow with cheesy bread.:)

Oh yes its normal, you can loose a whole day if your not careful, cause you are constantly refreshing the page to check if any glitches appear.
