David. Love the pics of Dexter and Bailey - they didn't appear on my PC at work.

Obviously Dexter's magic has been at work from his jaunt in the woods (coke, etc) but he's got the wrong day :)

I always thought Mimi1234 was a man. At least I think so from Boots Thread days. Does not matter anyway he is one of us now.

Back from GP, doctor asked some questions and although she said her ritualistic behaviour could be autism it's also possible that she'll grow out of it. The assessment is only suitable for children aged 3+. She did add not to worry as DD makes eye contact with people and understands feelings. I completely forgot to ask about the burping :(

I also finally got our Warm Home Discount Rebate today so that's helped a great deal. :j

Hope you feel better after your visit to the GP? Autusm can be difficult to diagnose and the assessment process is looong:(. We knew within the first year that something was wrong with my youngest. All his development milestones were very delayed. Learning difficulties were picked up as early as his nursery class but he still didn't get a firm diagnosis until he was 6. Not helped by the fact that he has significant motor problems as well. It's a very stressful time when you know or think something is wrong and no one can tell you why:(

Hopefully your GP is right and she will grow out of it. I think most kids have funny or strange behaviours that they eventually grow out of.....still worrying though:o

Good time to get your WHD:) I helped a friend apply for it so hopefully hers will arrive soon as well

Oh that's bad, mimi1234. I went to Tamworth and there was no mention of any limits but everyone was very friendly and helpful. I did get an extra Soap and Glory Best O All set in the pink holdall that I was going to just hold onto for myself but I will post it to you to make up for your loosing out luv. I remember you from the old days and you often helped people out. Felt good to be back Bootsing again even though it was just the day.

Well done you lovely. Glad you managed to get some goodies. Woohoo.

Noooooo, I thought Mimi was a she :o are you sure she's a he?

Just back from Lidls with Nannylala, stuff was cheaper but I think I'm just too used to whoopsie prices;)

Alas, I am a he. When I joined MSE, I used Mimi as a username never thinking I would actually contribute. Anyway, it's good to confuse people a bit ;)

Wow, you shop at Lidl? Their prices are always very high. Having said that, the bakery is lovely and they do awesome products.

Bit of a mini glitch at Mr Shoes. Thanks to Nicolay for posting. Might come in handy as lips tend to crack a lot in cold weather:

I'm not sure how I feel tbh. It's not just rituals, she has a routine that if we don't follow, she gets upset. If we're at mam's, she will bug me to go home after a certain time because she wants her dinner, bath and bed! She wont wear pj's that don't match and her bedroom has to be a certain way. In the past couple of days she's taken to avoiding cracks in the pavement! I know my DD and want her to have the support that I think she'll need, we'll see what happens, I'm going to wait until after her 3rd birthday in August and if I'm still concerned, take her back for the assessment.

I only knew about the WHD because it was on MSE last year :D Eon sent us a reminder letter back in October I think it was, asking if we wanted to apply again for this year and I sent it back the same day! Am so relieve it's finally arrived :)
