DS2 went back to uni today :(

Aww poor silvercar, my DS too last week, my heart honestly hurts when he goes, I do however have extra room to stash now - always an upside! :j

  • Worth a £25 gift card for embarrassment IMHO.:)

Aye and then some for being lied to not just in store but by head office as well. She's getting her £5 for the refused coupon but nothing else as far as I know. You can imagine she's not best pleased with me for telling her she could use it no problem :o

Go back on the fb query and ask them what way your mum can be compensated for this distress. It has worked for ahem others (and me) ;)

Big hugs:( My DS went back yesterday and I was fine until he messaged me today to say did I mind if he spends 4 weeks of the summer holidays in China:eek::eek::eek::eek: Maybe that will explain my sudden urge to book a holiday for me and MrLala;)
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

    afternoon all,
nearly bust a gasgit today as I was lurking at work and cannot log in...
the oldest recorded town, as an Essex girl I knew that straight away but couldn't say anything to our resident crooner.
Also the m&s socks are really lovely, managed to wedge a pair of star ones on the "patient" to keep his tootsies warm, very roomy and lovely quality.
Not much else to add except hi to all especially the newbies, its so frustrating when you have no voice:)

I'd feel :o doing that. They've not replied to the other comments yet so will hold fire for a few minutes and see if they respond to the mini flash mob!

  • Not sure if helpful for Ni people to compare to A but my Tesco metro has 6 packs of coke for £1.64.
Just wondered if your 6 packs in a would compare to t.

Feel for you. DS1 changed return day from Wednesday to tomorrow, now looks like I've to do the driving in snow too :(

he's been revising hard for weeks, so almost feels like he's gone already :(

Well I got sick of sitting on the sofa......

Couldn't stand to look out of the kitchen window at my poor neglected garden any longer. Donned hat, hoodie (it's surprising how cold your head gets with no hair :rotfl:) and two pairs of gloves (latex then gardening to keep the nasties out) and have had a mad hour clearing leaves and chopping back dead stuff :D

I feel so much better for it. Some fresh air and gentle exercise was just what I needed. All the little bulbs have started to poke through and now i'll be able to see them properly over the next few weeks and months.

Am not going crazy though. Have already cleaned myself up, stuck the clothes in the wash and am in nice clean pyjamas (well i'm not going out anywhere :p) back in my sofa corner with a cuppa :D
