yes i think going with jockettuk says, really push the boat out here this is absolutely unacceptable behaviour.

if he has refunded you, how can he file NPB? surely thats an admission on his part of a problem.

you could always give the police a ring now, tell them you're being harassed, they may give him a quick call. when i was at uni, we had some fella breathing down the phone 3 times a night. 'cept he was too stupid to press 141 before he dialed, we called the police and they gave him a call and it never happened again. they were great actually :)

i really find this behaviour absolutely disgraceful - how can he possibly expect you to retract a neg following these weird and obviously unpleasant conversation....where's burbs?! recalling his post from a week or two ago, perhaps this fella needs a wee visit!

Sorry to hear about your issues with this guy Cat72, I know it can be worrying getting a phone call from someone like that, who's attitude is less than pleasant.

Lets hope that eBay will finally wake up and realise that the scammers & idiots are going to give them a bad reputation. Only yesterday was a talking with a colleague at work, who had mentioned buying items on eBay to someone else and got a response along the lines of thats where you buy stolen goods from.
  • I have choose to refuse on my phone with BT. I know it works out expensive but for me its worth every penny as I can just press6 buttons and the number of the previous caller is blocked, they can't get through. Maybe something to think about instead of him abusing you on the phone as well as by email. :o

Just wondering what it was that you purchased. Certain items are more prone to people running scams.

    Hi
He has not phoned back that I know of, although someone phoned today and withheld their number and never left a message.
Quite like your idea about the bt phone thing maybe you could give me more details.
Ebay have not responded to my complaint yet nor done anything about his non paying bidder strike. Which I am very peeved about.
It is pretty trash to allow a seller to file a non bidder alert when they have refunded the payment ( especially about ten minutes earlier ). I am also annoyed at ebay phoning me last sunday to insist I put my telephone number on my details because they could not get an answer at the mobile number I had put on.
Trying not to let it all bother me too much , although I was upset the other day. But again it must be a situation that a lot of people go through and for women especailly, or if you lived near the person, it could be quite frightening.
  • If you are receiving unknown number calls, in the front part of the phone book there is a way to block these without cost.
I would also report him to the police for malicious calling  Ebay does not need these idiots, name and shame him
