  • Thanks cumbrianshopaholic for the info about the bag. I'm sure it's the big storage bag I picked up (I hope!) I have a few of the other regular designed bags already. I had better open it and check though just to be sure as I never spotted there was a different style.

Tou're welcome bubblegum. I had already bought 2 of the bags with the zippers to give as xmas presents and went back for a 3rd, it was only when I got it home I noticed it was a stocking lol.
The stocking and zipper bags were both folded with a cardboard sleeve and hung on the metal arms in our store.
The bags without the zipper (similar in style and material to the supermarket recyclable bags were not folded (least not in ours lol) and were again hung up on the metal arms. They were very large bags. They had 3 designs: Blue background with Santa, Blue background with Snowman and the same red background with the gingerbread men as the zipper bag. I bought one of each to put xmas prezzies in for my grandchildren. Hopefully they will be re-usable and longer lasting than the usual ones.

    Thanks!

I go in Home Bargains at least once a week but never walk down the Christmas decorations isle... I shall go there tomorrow lol!

Thank you yellowlally :) I picked up 2 sets ( 1 as a gift 1 for myself ) this morning in Dundee.

They weren't with the Christmas stock in this store though Angelina, I did look there initially then found them in the isle with the home decor ( photo frames etc )

Thanks for letting me know, glad you got some.

I ended up taking my son to college and completely forgot to look for them with him rushing me!

the £20 note tissues are great too, 29p
  • magsmorris I normally go to Rutherglen or Hamilton one. Hamilton is better as easier to park there and all the other shops on the retail park are better than what's in Rutherglen!

Also got some boxes of Kleenex tissues with Santa on them to put away for Xmas usual price 99p but sort of thing you need to buy when you see it as might be oos by Dec.
