Craigavon store. £1.99. Usually sells at £8.99 but have seen on eBay for £5.99. It is also suitable for microwave and dishwasher.

  • Lumiere magnetic nails - two pack for 99p:

There's a magnet in the top that you hold very close to the freshly-painted nail while still wet. It creates a wavy line effect in the polish.

I tried it, it's not as marked an effect as the illustration but still gives you a snazzy finish.

Similar polishes are £3 - £9 on amazon (each!)

    Slightly off topic....
Not used this brand myself, but from managing a cosmetics department I know that you might be able to improve the impact the magnet has. Not sure of the science behind it, but we always found that rubbing the magnet in the lid with nail polish remover first seemed to make it work better. :)

Not off topic at all - thanks for the tip, Lotte!

They also have Angry Birds (Star Wars) erasers: for 19p, you get a set of two random design erasers (out of a set of 24), two (different design) stickers, and a collectors sheet so you can check out which designs you are still missing.

*warning!* Buying packets of these could be addictive. Children they were intended for may go disappointed as adults play with them too;)

    I believe the RRP for these are £2.99 - they are on ebay/amazon for £1.80 - £2.00

At that price you could afford to burn 2 in a room and still be a lot cheaper than Yankee's. Will take a look next time I'm in, thanks.
Also if you put in fridge after use they last longer x

Spotted today in Home Bargains Soup Mug Take-Out 79p each BPA free, suitable for both the microwave and freezer.

Similar to the ones sold in Wilko for £4, the only difference is the stem vent.

They also do a noodle version for 99p which is like a bowl with a handle and lid. I have a spare i keep in the car I use to pour snacks into for little ones. They love it and my car stays a bit cleaner than normal.
If your store has them get a few as ours only stocked them once and I wish I'd got more than 2 of each design.

They have the little Sachets of Cadbury's hot chocolate and the Wispa Hot chocolate for 10p each. I got some to put in mugs to go with one of the hot chocolate spoons they are doing ( 69p I think, spoon dipped in chocolate with a little gingerbread man on top) They also have some nice mugs :)

I bought myself a pair of "Snug" ear muffs in black for 99p and they are adjustable. (I just hate having cold ears).
