  • Hi

I noticed today a large bottle of contact lens solution (think it was around 350ml(?) including a contact lens case for £1.99. I can't recall the name, it was something like Optivine (sorry I didn't write it down and have a v. poor memory!). Anyway definitely not a brand I recognise but the price is very good. I usually use Specsavers' solutions.

Does anyone know of the Home Bargains' one and can say whether it is any good or not? Always a bit careful when it comes to my eyes but this is a good price so am wondering whether to give it a try?

Yes I am using a bottle of it at the mo and it is fine, no different to any other solutions I have used apart from being cheaper. I have gas permeables btw. Will certainly be buying again eentually, the bottle is enormous!

Hope it's OK to report back about the boot's in my previous post. Daughter liked them so much she requested I go back and get her a black pair so she can wear them to school. They are adult sizes I saw 4 5 6s &7s still had quite a few when I went back to the store this morning.
They also had some Maw Broon kitchen gift stuff, measuring cup's a jug and a bowl, heart shaped wooden chopping board, a fish plate, a recipe card box and a jam jar kit. These were all around the £2 mark. Might make a nice gift for someone.

I've been picking up the Broons kitchenware to make a gift set for Christmas, they're lovely :)
