New to this money saving lark. Any tips greatly received.

  • We always go stock up on the cat food trays that are 89p for 5 trays, our moggy loves them! We also grab the 12 kitchen rolls for £2.99. Poundstretchers Nicky ones do work out cheaper at 8 rolls for £1.79 but its a false economy compared to these ones, they last loads longer.

Found some incredibly cute kilner bottles just 70ml so no idea what I'll use them for but at 39p I couldn't resist.

    That's a good price.

I've seen the 1 litre ones advertised and they are 99p each

No Orla Keily left in Perth Store but they did have the Lovestruck if anyone is looking for it. It was £15. The Orla said rrp was 19.99 and was selling for 10. No Green and Black chocs either but did get four packs of Cadburys chocs for £1. (They are the shape of rolos but solid chocolate-yummy!

I'm still collecting the Wilton cake decorating stuff.

In the Preston Deepdale store I found the Punch (for the inserts) for £1.69. I had already bought this on an internet website for nearly £12 pounds! (this isn't the border punch I've previously typed about, it's the other one.)

I bought the Spell-N Stamp cake stamping block for £1.49. (for the letter stamps that I've previously bought in Home Bargains.) This enables you to place the stamps in rows or a circle.

Edited to say that frown face is in the wrong place. I was frowning about the fact that I'd paid a lot more money elsewhere.

Bought a super concentrate water flavouring juice thing called go splash similar to the robinsons stuff where you just need a wee splash to flavour your water , it's in a tiny bottle, be ideal for popping in a pocket or handbag, thought it was worth a try for 49p & it's quite nice I got the strawberry & watermelon one. Very refreshing.
    Booo!!!
  • I got the Lovestruck perfume from Preston Deepdale today. Your right, it's lovely! You have to ask for it at the till.
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)
