Bought a great dog ball from my local store for £1. It's called Cool Dude, and has little feet on it, so when you throw it, it bounces all over. It has a decent loud squeak. Made from really tough rubber.

I bought this for my dog who's aim in life is to destroy every toy he is given. He literally removes a squeak in less than 5 minutes. This toy lasted for a couple of days, before he pushed the squeak inside. But a week later, the ball is still whole, and he's still playing with it!

Having said that, I still think it's a fantastic toy for "normal" dogs. (and I've been back and bought him another one for Christmas. :D )

I called in today to my local and picked up:
Thorntons classic 499g box for £4.99! Dated 31/1/14, so not due to expire like some other deals I've seen. It was with the teacher gifts for the end of school year.
A Nivea for men invigorate gift set for £6.99, this has about 6 products in it. I'll check what's included & report back. Perfect for Father's Day.
Um bongo cartons (pack of 5) for £1
Large tic tacs packs for 39p too.
Wins to date: Pair of tickets to the Diamond Jubilee garden party & concert 2012. A Persil bunny. :D

In the Harborne store, I've just seen 2 weight watchers cook books for 49p each - "Just for Me" and "Food for Friends" rrp £7.99 - the points are in ProPoints so are up to date. Looks like some nice recipes in them.
They also had a large hard back book - Events that changed the world, for £2.99 (instead of £19.99).
They also had Angel Delight for 29p a pack (BB is in 2014)

Every mum should keep Rescue Gummy Stars in her handbag

Each Rescue Gummy Star contains 4 drops of RESCUE®, the famous soothing combination of five flower essences. They contain no artificial sweeteners and come in a yummy natural orange flavour. They are suitable for children over two years old.
So they are a calming remedy.
