  • beware if you are buying the mascara...I got 6 and they have all dried up!!! I will be taking them back, but not sure if they will refund on cosmetics. You can wipe the wand on your hand and it is as dry as a bone...anybody else had this, or have i just got a bad bunch??

Just to let you know I had one of these as well, took it back this morning and they refunded it no problem. x

Has anyone spotted any garment bags in Home Bargains? I'm looking for plastic covers for clothes hanging in the wardrobe, the kind they have in the dry cleaners. Not sure if garment bags is the right term! It's just to keep dust and other nasty stuff off the clothes.

I've seen suit bags in Poundland, but they are quite sturdy, not plastic, and come in single packs.

I was hoping for a multipack. They're just think plastic sheeting so surely can't be that expensive!

I've only seen the opaque fabric type in HB.
These are £2.15 in Wilkinsons (for 2) - I wanted transparent and couldn't find anything else.

zhu zhu baby gym for £1.99 in Reading yesterday - it's a £20 toy, not worth £20 but fab value for £1.99 and had no price on at the shelf that we could see, good if your kids like zhu zhu and already have some babies

    - they had some other sets that weren't displaying an obvious price and they may have been equally cheap

For any hayfever sufferers out there I found a 1 month supply of Prevalin allergy nasal spray for 99p in the North Shields store, rrp of £9.99, thought I'd give it a go.
The expiry is 07/13 but perfect for giving it a try since I can already feel hayfever symptoms flaring up! It's the same as the one on the boots website marked as 'Prevalin allergy 140 doses' (can't post links) but in a small plastic bag with a flyer with the picture of a fire(allergy) extinguisher on it.
    Hope this helps someone!

Thanks, I guess this is old packaging/stock. Here's the linky to the boots one

I've never tried it but if can find in HB will def give it a try!

Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

They are well made with a full length zip down the front and the edges are bound with a white trim, it seems to be extra strong round the gap at the top for the hanger.

Mine have lasted several years now, with regular use which the flimsy bags from the cleaners can not.

The jacket size is slightly too short for my 6' 8" DH's jackets, but I just sliced the bottom off. I did the same with the dress covers to fit the maxi dresses and the stitching has not come undone.
