Dinosaur money boxes in Chelmsley Wood store this morning they seemed to have had the 'A' box though as there was only Andrew, Aiden and Abigail.

Picked up a 6 pack of Walkers Noughts and Crosses crisps for 69p. They seem to be everywhere at the moment but this is the cheapest I've seen them. They're usually around £1 - in the discount shops I frequent, at least!
  • Just check the use by date for your Noughts and Crosses crisps. I got some this week and when I got them out of the cupboard today noticed they had a use by date for the 29th June. Not a problem if you are going to eat them soon but don't put them at the back of the cupboard!

(I know it is just a use by date but crisps do seem to go a bit soggy if left too long after the date!)

I saw Freeview boxes in the Southport store. I think they were priced at £3.99.

I know new televisions have inbuilt Freeview, but a great price for all of us that still own older portable televisions.

Thanks for this.....I was just about to get rid of bedroom TV as my last 2 free view boxes had died on me......great value at 3.99 ! :j:j

I got 2 of the polka dot satchels that were shown on the home bargain Facebook page yesterday in Liscard. Absolutely gorgeous.

I managed to order the burgundy one online last week. I'm giving it its first test run today, but seems quite good quality. Lining is soft, good size and lots of pockets.

Yes, I think that's the date mine have too, though I didn't think to check in the shop.

No problem as crisps don't last long round here...:o
