I saw self balancing electric scooters, I think they're called g boards, or smart boards, (a bit like a Segway without the handle) in the Fleetwood store last week. I think they cost approx.£249, I can't quite remember.

If my sons were still teenagers, and I was richer, (owning a massive garden) I'd have loved to buy one.

If anybody does buy one, be aware that these, by law, can't be ridden on public paths or roads in the Uk. They can only be ridden on land which is private property, and with the landowners permission.
  • There is an article on an online newspaper, and on a tele programme this morning, stating that some imported boards are deemed unsafe, due to faulty batteries, charging cables and plugs. Some have exploded and caused fires!

(articles didn't mention Homebargains, so I'm not stating their's are unsafe.)

They had a 2m extension cable with 4 plug sockets which had individual switches on them and 2 USB sockets for £5.99 which I thought was a bargain.

I got one yesterday at Doncaster Thorne Road store.
    Very happy with it! :D

Thanks Scotty managed to find one of these today, my daughter is Dr Who mad so she will be chuffed with this. I also got some tortilla Pringles for a £1 these are dangerously moreish so be careful, they had share bags of the curry flavour fish&chip snacks for 39p the salt &vinegar & pickled onion flavour were still 99p.
ETA just checked & the fish & chip snacks are short dated best before 26/12/15 , so that might be why they are cheaper and they might not be available elsewhere.
    Booo!!!
