Our B&M garden centre is a depressing wasteland of dead and dying plants (Bolton). The bulbs should be ok though.

In Newark H B today:

Kirstie Allsop hand wash, shower soap in both rose and neroli, £1.99.

Large selection of retro style toys - wind-up robots and racing cars, build and wind-up animals and dinosaurs, jacks (anyone else remember them?) all 99p. Also wooden puzzles, juggling balls (I think 99p) and model planes for £1.99.

Nearly forgot Lego luggage tags in 6 colours also 99p.

Still Minion bits, and in general the store felt really well stocked.

If this is your kind of thing, M&S has a rotating animated musical biscuit tin on sale at 1/2 price atm - £6 instead of £12. (Content is 240g of ginger biscuits, but that is secondary as the M&S labelling can all be removed and its a tin that can be passed down the generations). The tune is Jingle Bells, and is certain to delight for many years .

Swansea Parc Tawe branch had Crayola Digitools 3-D pack for Ipad this morning for 99p.

They had a 2m extension cable with 4 plug sockets which had individual switches on them and 2 USB sockets for £5.99 which I thought was a bargain.
