    Hi,

I have asked this amongst other questions before. I'll keep it straightforward.

Could you please tell me why ATOS refuse to give 'customers' access to their complaints procedure on request ?

    Thank you

Isn't it right that the ESA claim form advises NOT to send any additional information?

Surely if the Tribunals are reversing decisions based on medical evidence it wiould be prudent for the ESA claim form to ask for it, and for the DWP/ATOS to ensure that the HCP performing the WCA has read and understood the information.

No, if you're referring to the ESA50 form it states the following:-

"If you have any medical reports from your doctor, consultant or health care professional or any other information you wish us to see please send them with this questionnaire"

This of course doesn't mean that Atos can ignore their responsibility during their Pre-Board check, something that seems to happen a lot!

I've just noticed on the signature of this Atos PR Rep it says "I am not allowed to tout for business at all."

It's not as if sick and disabled people can shop around for a better quality service is it, unfortunately they're stuck with Atos!!

Do you know which MP's were involved and on which day this debate took place? I'd like to read that.

Full written transcript of the debate here: http://www.theyworkforyou.com/debates/?id=2013-01-17a.1050.0&s=speaker%3A10964#g1080.0

    Very true,
At my partners 3rd assessment, I begged the DM to either use a different assessment organisation or at least to have an employee of the DWP present - both were denied.

(which led to a great deal of stress and hassle, another farcical report and another withdrawal of it 4 months later)

    Here's a question.

Many doctors and consultants are frustrated because their clinical evidence is disregarded by Atos.

Perhaps this Atos person can explain why Atos disregards this clinical evidence?

isolation, the procedures we follow are owned by the DWP, which is why we aren’t able provide them and requests need to be directed to DWP. However, details about how to complain are available on request if you contact us, and can be found on our website and in assessment centres.
    Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Atos Healthcare. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"
