Son Needs Advice -- Opinions Please

Well he has had a date and says she is a lovely girl. Her parents were away at the weekend so they saw each other then. He is worried her parents are going to disapprove and actually doesn't want her to have a load of hastle --- so we shall see. I think I am going to have to brush up on my knowledge if we meet her. I would hate to say the wrong thing and embaress either of them

Don't take it personally if they do disapprove as the parents will. It won't be anything to do with what they think of your son.
Its not going to be an easy relationship and i can see her ending it because of her religion. I'd just get ready to be there for him and i'll be honest , like your daughter, i still agree, i hope he finds someone else to save lots of heartbreak.

Parents will instinctively disapprove of their daughters relationship(s). Ultimatley, it will be down to what they themselves decide, If it turns out to be that they are so in love with one another....NOBODY will get in the way of that. Many couples will have started off life by rebelling against their parents ideals, and still dont regret what choices they made.
