I took on his, and my mum's full time care from that day on, which, with the deterioration of my marriage, consequently caused me to suffer from anxiety and depression.
Although my parents are very wealthy from saving all their lives, my dad has been assessed as being entitled to nhs continuing care
So where have I lied, stop accusing me.
I'm glad to hear you are all sorted and that you will receive lifetime maintenance from your high earning IT Consultant/SE Builder ex husband who had a stoke and for whom you cared for 24/7 along with your parents. That had to be tough.
How nice it is to get back on track after what must have been an awful few years for you!
Here's hoping the degree and full time employment don't cause you any further anguish.BYS # 7 £0 /£1000Quit smoking Sept 2013 - Saved £525 (4/12/13)0 -

Sadly, I think your post would probably go right over Samsaragirl's head.

I really can't understand the mentality of people like 'Samsaragirl', who post made-up stories like her's on forums.
It must be gut wrenching for you SandraScarlett.
Yes, unfortunately it is. I dread the weekends, as I don't get a moment's respite, and find myself counting the hours till Monday, when DH goes to his club.
I'm dealing with a 75 year old toddler, and why anyone should pretend that they are too, only this time with both parents, is beyond me.
But it was the remarks made about it all being a wind up, in one post, and then referring to people as bullies, in another, then pontificating about why Martin set this site up, that got to me. There are so many poor souls on here, caring for others, and as bad as it is for me, at least DH has had a good long life.
The people that care for children or others that are young, are the ones deserving of the most sympathy, because they've got decades of caring ahead.

To those who have been offended by Samsara's behaviour don't worry, given the username she's chosen perhaps she'll wander through many rebirths and end up as an animal or other lowly creature, reflecting her karma. With enough bad karma she could return as a plant or a rock!!!!!:rotfl:
For those who don't know what Samsara means it's basically the belief that we continue to be born and reborn in various realms in the form of human animal or other being dependent on Karma.0
