People should be warned about them or better still take time to read what they are looking at.
Has anyone on this forum had there money back.0 -

Has anyone on this forum had there money back.
Did you read the post above yours? That tells you how to get your money back assuming you haven't left it too late.0 -

Great advice - and it should apply to any website that you're looking at and considering buying goods or services from.foolishone wrote: »Has anyone on this forum had there money back.
Yes, some posters who read the website about cancellation and acted quickly (instead of ringing banks or credit card companies) have had their money back.
As gb12345 says, this company seem OK with refunding money as long as you contact them before it's too late.
Did you email them before they processed your application?
If so, you should get a refund.
If you haven't been in touch with them, better get it done pdq and you might have a chance of a refund.0 -
I got scammed by this website, then I started getting spam texts about PPI etc on my phone. Couldn't understand where they came from until now. I am usually pretty savvy but I feel sick to the core that I fell for this. I just hope they don't share my credit card details aswel or any other information that an identity thief could use.0

How were you scammed? You paid for a service, which I assume they provided. They also gave you a cancellation option - did you use it?0 -

Thay is a LIE.You were NOT scammed.YOU FAILED to read and understand what YOU were buying.0 -
I seem to remember a similar site to do with the EHIC card that was highlighted a while back.
At the end of it all, they are providing a service, but one that 99.9% don't require.
Where does the blame lie, well I say it's 70%-30% on those not reading up what they are doing.
I have some sympathy, because it is clear these sites are set up to try to catch people out, despite being legal by law and that google quite frankly don't really give a stuff about promoting such sites, if they are paid to do so.0 -

7.09pm? The lads were still playing at that time! You should be ashamed to offer consumer advice while the match is still going on!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

It's no problem to contact your card issuer and inform them of your worries and ask them to cancel your card and issue a replacement. (they are normally more than happy to do this as any fraud ends up costing them money).
It won't do anything to get your payment back, but it should put your mind at ease over your card being misused in the future.0 -
