Anyone know if this is a rebranded product? If so who produces it.

Thanks.

Spec is massive, looks a bit Asus like to me but who knows! ~If it really has a 10AH battery then thats pretty special. Screen sounds brilliant, especially as its 4:3 ratio so about 35% bigger than a 16:9 ratio 9.7". (£170 is still a lot of money buts a heck of a lot less than an Ipad!)0 -

Not ASUS, it's a generic tablet, like any of these:
Onda V973 / 972
Ainol Novo 9 Spark
Chuwi V99
Reviews of this sort of thing are always completely mixed. Some people buy them, are very happy, others have terrible experiences. For the sort of thing I mean, see the reviews of a similar tablet here:

If you want to play games on a tablet then the Advent vega tegra note 7 is the one to go for, £116.99 from Currys, recently had a price reduction, now cheaper here than the USA.http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/ipad-tablets-and-ereaders/tablets/advent-vega-tegra-note-7-tablet-16-gb-21812495-pdt.html0

Yes your right the spec's are extremely similar, I was looking at the back design with the flash which is unusual. From the front all tablets look the same of course so tells you nothing. But as you say, it does look like a clone with a couple of extras.0 -
Check out the HANNSPREE HANNSpad SN1AT71WEE
10.1" IPS
Quad core
1.2GHz
Memory DDR3 1GB
Storage 16GB (Expandable)
2 YEAR GUARANTEE,and that's Gotta be a Plus.
A couple of Cameras, but that's not what I was looking for in a Tablet.Bottom Line?
Price (from Asda) £129.00 LESS Asda £10 voucher (Mentioned on HUKD site, found on Asda site,as I checked-out the product)
so,NOW we are down to £119.00,but it can get better...
I got it for £99.00,because I found a new credit card (when on the Amazon.co.uk site) Part of my "Research" into the MANY Tablets on the market. With the AQUA Card,if I stay within my Limit, and make the minimum payments for the first 2 Months, they will credit me with £20.00.
Think of a CREDIT card as a DEBIT card, with benefits.(Security) Pay for your goods with a debit card (as people did with COMET) and if the Company went Belly up 2 minutes later, even before you made it out the door  chances are you lost yer money, and NO Delivery
NOW,SAME deal, but you used a CREDIT card (and it's over £100) your money would be safe,as the Credit card company would pay you back,by Law :T
You can pay your Credit card off 30 seconds after you made your purchase (if you want) with your Debit card,so it's ALL done and dusted.Money goes out of your account just as fastBUT yer COVERED :j

Rumours are (based on recent nexus 10 deals) that they are gearing up to announce it at CES next week. It's not clear whether it will be produced by ASUS or Samsung (as per the current Nexus 10)
Other possibility is that google may hold a separate launch event but no confirmed dates yet.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
