The picture frames are beautiful Carlamarie. So clever and so cheap as well, fantsatic job.
That baby blanket looks lovely and cosy Mrs M. Loving the roadkill hedgehogs lol.
Soulie glad the chemo went in a bit quicker this time for you so you didn't need to be in any longer than necessary. The Tigger patchwork is great, so bright and colourful.
Well done on completing another two projects Tricksie.
Dibuzz your knitting is lovely. I really like the wee matinee jacket, absolutely gorgeous. I had quite a few hand knitted jumpers and cardigans for both my ds and everytime they wore one people commented.
Love the bookmark and card Floerofscotland. How did you do the fringing at the bottom of the bookmark, as it really finishes it off?
Dakota86 hope you manage to get the blanket finished in time.
nuttybabe wow that's very organised for Christmas. What a lovely colour wool, very pretty.
Oh I absolutely adore your bee Chickywiggle. He is so cute.
Jakesbakescakes good luck with your cross stitch. Which one did you get?
I was hoping to get the asiatic lily project finished for my mum's birthday on 26th but that's not going to happen so I will do it for her xmas instead. Will need to start on MIL's picture for her birthday as it is on 18th April and I don't want to miss another deadline:o
The bookmark is stitched on aida band which is ideal for bookmarks as the sides are already finished. The fringing is done by removing the horizontal threads from the aida. I backed the bookmark with some matching cotton fabric (as I do patchwork I always have small bits of fabric in my stash) and removed the threads to the stitching line where I attached the backing fabric. Hope this makes sense0 -

Could have proabably matched up some better patterns if I looked through the stuff in the loft but this was all her more recently outgrown stuff I had to hand. She loves dresses so it'll be perfect for mucking about in at the beach or in the backgarden, can keep her bought dresses for nice then. I still need to think of 3 more projects and my knitting ones are going to take a lot longer to do. Cookie monster costume is getting there too, has to be finished by Friday, it wont be perfect as its rushed but it does look like a cookie monster.0 -
Soulie - hope the bloods are ok and the chemo goes well.
Well done Mrs M, Dakota, Soulie and everyone else who is completing projects - I'm really envious. At a fairly crucial time in my project at work so still at 0/13 but aiming on getting something finished soon. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
Good morning everyone
I have really enjoyed seeing and reading about everyone's progress so far.
I haven't had a lot of stitching time recently but I have made some progress on Stitcher's 12 Days which is a project I have divided into months and have done the cross stitched cottage for the quilt square I am making.
Will post photos once later - probably at the weekend0
