If the white guitar does not actually exist (as pullip is alluding to) the best you will be able to do is get a FULL refund.
I agree, it appears mis-described. The model you have got may indeed be "arctic white" but the picture could be wrong.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
so if thats the case why are guitar guitar using that image to sell a guitar as artic white when its clearly isn't white is cream dose not count as miss selling why are they using that image to sell the guitar when its dosent fit the colour of the actual guitar
I'm not disagreeing, it is misleading. If you look around the net there is a firm split between companies using the yellowed image and those using the bright white image.
All I am saying is please consider if he's going to send it back because he wants a bright white guitar then it will probably be this colour in a few months time as well.0 -

Have a look on google images for "squier affinity guitar arctic white" You'll notice there is a split between what I believe is a bright white photoshopped image and the actual yellowed image.
Interestingly, all the amateur images taken of the guitars by the new owners show a creamy coloured guitar and thats what I believe is how this particular model is.0 -
Just to point out, the colour "arctic white" is in fact a creamy colour.
You cannot always trust colours on a computer screen, which is why checking out the guitar in person is particularly helpful. Also, had your son shopped around, he would notice the varying colour.
I may be the only one, but whilst the picture on GG's website does look white, the pickguard stands out a certain amount. As the pickguard is definitely white, that would suggest to me that body is off-white.
Is there a GuitarGuitarnstore near you that you can go to in order to make the exchange and save yourself the postage costs?0 -
Both guitars are described as being artic white.

if we wont a refund they will give us one but take out £15 to cover the cost of returning the guitar
to me thats unfair when what they described on the web site is not what I got
Just tell them you are rejecting it under SoGA "not as described" and that because of this, they are responsible for return carriage fees. If you google "SoGA template" or something similar, you'll find plenty of template letters/emails to give you an idea of what to write
Just keep it simple. Bought x guitar on x date for x price. Guitar arrived and does not match its description so you are exercising your right under SoGA to reject the goods outright for a full refund.

I'm not that familiar with guitars
The extent of my musical prowess is singing along with Lips on xbox when drunk!
My uncle on the other hand, very creative and when it comes to music or art, seriously knows his stuff. Give him a few key words for ideas and 10 seconds later he's already made up a song about them. Not sure whether he's a better musician or artist
We usually commission him to make artwork when we're redecorating. Always amazes me how good he is, even after knowing what he can do lol. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

O/T
Thats about my musical prowess summed up, however I've been dragged around every music shop in the local area for years by the boy so I've picked things up as I've gone. He did teach me to play a little bass once, I can play the intro to a Rage Against The Machine song....thats it.
Your Uncle sounds a lot like the boy actually, he amazes me because he hears a song, picks up his guitar and can mimic it immediately, I can shout songs at him and he'll play them straight away. He plays be ear, cant read a note of music, just listens and memorises. His band recorded a few tracks before christmas, it was all in his head not a jot of it is written down.
Anyway, back on topic, I think if this were me I'd return under DSR as unholyangel suggests and take the boy to a physical shop where he can try lots of models and find the right one to suit.0 -
