    living with your daughter doesnt effect either of your benefits. with the exception of housing benefit/council tax beneit.

    you are both two seperate family units.

    im not sure how housing benefit works, i know my dad gets full HB as he is unable to work. but my brother has to pay some of the rent from his JSA as there is a reduction due to his living there...

    For what it's worth, I'm a single parent & I live with my mum. Nothing is affected, we are separate.

    The OP wont be trying to claim HB, the house isnt rented and she said she was going to live off her savings (apart from ctc and cb)
