  • I think after six months you can extend the contract on a monthly basis.

  • First post so be kind, I usually just read the posts but as I was contacted by yoursuresave, I thought I'd post!

Got to be honest usually I'd try and get off the phone but as was looking at switching I thought I'd give them a go!

I have say I was impressed, they couldnt do anything on broadband but thats because I dont have a landline in use but on gas and elec the saving was enough to warrant getting them to arrange the switch!

For me the hilife card was a big draw as well, havent received through yet (but only this week I spoke with them) but will keep you posted

Anyone else got actual reviews? I'm a bit wary as they seem to be misadvertising...
  • It looks to me like they are reselling Hometelecoms product and adding extras.

The minimum six month is the lowest I suppose, I don't think many companies would do monthly contracts, it would be hard to see how it would make business sense.

What would stop anyone from signing up for 1 month and then running up a huge bill and disappearing.

Plus, it must take a week or two just to sort out all the admin, etc.

    Just an update.

He said his new internet went on today. He said he was 'over the chuffed with it' whatever that means ha ha. He said it was faster than the Sky he had and no drop outs and his son is overjoyed with the connection for his xbox.

    Sounds great. Thanks for reporting.

My experience hasn't been so great. I've requested a callback four times now and not even one attempt to ring me!

The guy on the phone just offered me free installation and monthly rolling contract only for the sales person to say it was actually a 6 month contract and £69 installation! For 3 months that would make the effective price £70/month!

Waiting for another call back now...

How long have you been waiting now? Are you waiting for hometelecom or the other guys to call you back?

Wouldn't it great if BB companies could offer rolling month contracts like mobile phone providers do?

They called me back. They said they can't offer what they promised. 1 month rolling contract is not available. Free installation is not available. The price they promise isn't realistic and in actual fact you'll end up spending well over £30/month :(

    Shame...
