Brilliant, cheers
What rate did he pay and where does he live? 0 -
He's in Liverpool. He was on the phone to them yesterday and said it was 'looking promising'.
He moved over because his sky broadband was hopelessly slow and unreliable and he wasn't able to get Virgin in his postcode.
I'll try and get more details.I am a moneysaver0 -
Hi cinereus, he just got back.
He said he was on the phone to a rep from yoursuresave who took his details and transferred him to home telecom.
He signed up for the 18 month contract with no installation fees on that length - £23 a month all in.
He said if they are half as good as they claim to be then he'll be happy with that as he was having a terrible time with Sky.
yoursuresave offered him a free 12 month hi life membership card but he already had one because he switched electricity with them a few weeks back.I am a moneysaver0 -
So the £23/month rate isn't actually available for monthly contract?0

They are part of Global 4 see http://www.thinkbroadband.com/news/5022-pipex-uk-ltd-customers-transferred-to-global-4-communications.html
They post duff info on their site about calls.See here http://www.hometelecom.co.uk/landline-calls.php
Just like them BT and all other major suppliers charge just one rate to call 01/02/03 numbers and have done for years.
Unlike most other suppliers 0845/0870 calls are chargeable.
Plus broadband not unlimited if your in wrong area.
