    :bdaycake:  :grouphug: :wall:

All of the above where appropriate!
Had an appointment at the bank this morning to sort out accounts, handed over the endowment cheque, so in a couple of weeks will be mortgage free. Was advised to see my solicitor re applying for whatever letters I need from the Sherriff Court as it will apparently be quicker than the bank's probate department, first appointment I could get is next Tuesday so will have time to sort out all my paperwork for that, will make a new will at the same time:(
Yesterday was awful, today so far I have been fairly busy till now, was contemplating a dive into his working trousers cos there are undoubtedly job lines etc in the many pockets, and his wallet is in there somewhere, will see how long I contemplate before action is taken!
    RIP Iain

Huge thanks everyone. IV had my dla lowered after 6 years with no explanation and IV actually had my morphine and oramorph upped recently and in the last 6 months. Been the doctors and he's upped my oramorph and anti depressants for the 3rd time in over a month. I'm appealing the decision and have made a complaint about the dla doctor.
    Happy birthday Nmlc. Xx

Happy Birthday to Rachel for yesterday and nmlc for today, hope both the days have been good.

Flutterby - Glad to hear you are on the mend and hope you don't get too bored.
Jools - Hang in there one day at a time.
LW - You are who you are. You are always kind and sympathetic and have a big heart, especially where the furries are involved.
emsf - If your foot has blisters on be careful they don't burst, that's when infection can set in.

First day back at school today and it wasn't too bad, children excited to tell what they got for christmas (far too much it seems!) and staff walking about in a daze made for an entertaining day.

DDs car passed its first MOT with just a headlight bulb to pay for (£1.36) as the MOT itself had been paid for when we bought the car.

Going to do some knitting tonight - more slippers. Take care. XX

    Happy belated birthday Rachel

I managed to pop out for an hour or so today. Went to local shopping centre. Bought some running gear for when I can run again, then popped to Tesco for some magazines and a new diary. Got some YS bargains, huge bag of carrots for 15p and 5 large peppers for £1 :D. I popped to Aldi then on way back to get the Super 6 veg for salads this week. I felt knackered when I got back so have taken it easy for rest of the day.

I have now updated my diary for the year (love doing that!).

Stir fry for tea, enjoying healthy eating today

    Happy birthday nmlc and rachel!

emsf - your foot sounds awful, nasty.
Hope work wasn't to bad hester
    rachel - what a nightmare :(

LW - you are on of the nicest people i know. Your always so supportive towards everyone, and i love reading about your little doglet friends. Your posts always cheer me and fill me with hope that they nice people in the world.

I'm the same as you, i over think everything. I'm clumsy socially, one minute i ramble, then quiet, i'm a complete mess.Other times i can be fine and quite calm, joky but with my hands shaking like mad from nerves. A very close, or so i thought, person described me as a schizophrenic because i change so much. Worst thing is i've known this person for years and is my partners best friend and they said it when thought i couldn't hear them:(.

The same person and group came back during Christmas and completely ostracised my partner because of me and my children.these people don't have children of they own.I felt so guilty because i know its my fault:(. My eldest can be hyper at time, but these same people wind them up and then go mad when the children are too excited. My youngest is on the autistic spectrum so he doesn't know how to act socially or have a conversation. Another thing which didn't help is that they saw my wheelchair by the door and after that they magically disappeared.

oops sorry everyone i've just gone a massive rant :o

We just had a lovely dinner, my OH made chicken wrapped with bacon, cream sauce, mash and veg and roasties. Then we had apple pie and lemon ice cream for afters. Luckily we had afters as ds2's friend came round, OH just dropped him off back at home.

Since i haven't been able to walk we have been cooking together. Well me telling him to do and him doing it. Big bonus though, another day another penny not spent :D

    Evening all
Sorry to hear about peoples problems with DLA etc.
Back to work today, I managed 8 hours, but need to do 9 hours a day for the rest of the week, one foot in front of the other seems to be the only way, lol. But I am beginning to feel a bit better, still got no sense of smell, just cooked some piripiri chicken, hubby say's it's stunk the house out, I can't smell a thing.
I got rid of all the 'stuff' I've cleared out the kitchen, but was then given a bag of clothes & some bedding, still DD's will be over one day this week & they will soon make a hole in it.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

Just a quick pop in rather late.
    :bdaycake: nmic & Rachel
(((Hugs)))) Jools, Molly, Bryn, LW, keel ou and anyone else who needs one.
At last finished the washing at 2 loads a day, and managed to get dry without the TD, did a bit of an experiment for my tea tonight, DH had nice sausage, chips & beans, this but I used a smoked river cobbler, which I found in the freezer, YS but of course. Had half, and another half for tomorrow.

Also managed an outside freezer inventory.
    Take care all. DG

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?
