just thought i would update.
I used the template on here to e-mail them, explained the situation as per my first post here. I also (mainly for a laugh) questioned there definition of ‘client’ and section 3.4 (i think) of their contract, the response was hilarious.. stating clearly i didn’t understand the the client was indeed the person whom contracted them to monitor parking which is what is clear cut in the contract, except they g on to say the CLIENT has to display a valid permit.... clearly they don’t want to explain it.
They claim they are going to continue pursuing payment and my response to that was pursue away, i am unable to pay so you aren’t getting a penny from me, see you in court.
Honestly, i really don’t know if i can put up with letters etc and seeing as they don’t belong to a governing body it does make me a little nervous as to what tactics they may employ. The 14 days falls just within my payday but i dont know if the money will go in on monday (if it does the 14 days is over and the invoice increased to 125 quid) IF the money goes in friday or saturday i can chuck them 75 and be done with it... i really don’t want to but argh, i don’t want to end up arguing this for months on end.
I have considered contacting the property manager (OM property management) if anyone cares to google and see if they can help but having read around it seems most don’t like to get involved even tho they employ these sharks...
erm... help?0 -
There is a recent case where a guy had 30+ tickets and NCP took him to court after impounding his car! they LOST! and had to pay him nearly £3k in damages and pay over £30k in legal fees.
Of course your case is not the same but honestly they will send you threatening letters and will either give up, harass you and break the law! or take you to court where you will WIN. relax i am ignoring euro car parks and havent heard from them in 3 months now. When using the housing forum please use the sticky threads for valuable information.0 -

You shouldn't have contacted them at all !!!
Also, you won't end up having months of arguments - it takes two to argue and you're now going to ignore them aren't you ?All aboard the Gus Bus !0 -
Why are you even considering paying them still ? These are just rebranded clamping scumbags, they will not take you to court , so why worry about it ? Just ignore them, continued contact will mean that they think they are in with a chance of getting money off you.
If they have your address they'll probably get somebody like roxburghe/graham white to chase you, these barrel scraping vermin suit each other. They both try and screw money off people.
Ignore the scammers and they will go awayWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.

i don’t know why i’m thinking of paying them. but its true when they say they make people feel like they have to.
I really wanna know if they have proof of who the driver was, there is CCTV here but i have no idea if it’s for their benefit or jsut for the general security of the tenants here. Would they have access to it??0 -
This will be a self ticketing scam set up.
Someone on site has a book of their tickets and gets a cut of the money.
Just IGNORE them, stop worrying about this that and the other.
They can not charge you an illegal contact penalty, because they are ILLEGAL.
All they can do is ASK
Which they will do more if you contact them to argue.Be happy...;)0 -

So what if they have a photo of the driver. If I plucked a random persons picture from the internet would YOU be able to name them ?
Stop worrying, there's nothing they can do but send you nasty letters. IGNORE them. All aboard the Gus Bus !0 -
good points... i do worry a lot, and this is the first time i’ve refused to pay. I got a penalty charge from the council for knowingly parking in a disabled space with no badge (sorry!) so coughed up cos i knew i shouldn’t have done it but it was 35 quid and perfectly reasonable.
I’m just incensed, i live here, there are no parking fees for anyone, i have a damn permit, 75 quid is ridiculous.0 -
Which bit of 'ignore them' didn't you get?
Why are you so concerned about them knowing who was driving?
They have ticketed you for trespassing on your own land! There is nothing they can do, the only legal claim against you for trespass would have to be issued by YOU.
IGNORE THEM, and don't pay up, for God's sake!Je Suis Cecil.0 -
Penalty Charge Notices should never be ignored as they are setup under statute law, it could lead to bailiffs at your door and vehicle clamped or towed. You should not abuse disabled bays its that simple, but we are not judging you and you've paid your penalty (hope you went to pepipoo.com about it ?) so end of matter.
This what you have is a scam, would you pay them if they had Nigerian in their name ? Would you give me £75 if I charged you for this message ? Read this forum and realise that 10000s have been in your position and ignored. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you.
