@CoolHotCold - Really? Installs were a big one when I was there. Then they revamped them all to make them smaller - then they revamped them again so that it fell under "KNOWHOW" as oppose to an individual KPI. I remember because our store had a trial on where installation was free on whitegoods (only a local thing so we had to discount it off)

Anyways. Back to point.

Yes you can take it back to a store they do have the facility to deal with it. Rather than lug it back to the store take your receipt and serial number from the machine and explain the situation. DONT GO IN ALL GUNS BLAZING - That will get you nowhere quickly.

Go in explain the situation, explain that you are willing to pay more for the Washer/Dryer combo (they are usually more expensive anyway) and if push comes to shove tell them that you will pay an additional delivery charge. I.e not get the first refunded since it was your error.

That should sweet talk any manager.
