And you believe it was all true. Haven't you heard of producers. It's their job to make the participants say outrageous things that can then be edited for the best (humiliating) impact.
I used to like come dine with me but have become sick and tired of ordinary, normal people being set up and edited to make them appear evil or stupid.
Yes I do know that some people sadly are evil and or stupid.

I think if the whole concept of the show was for people to be brutally honest with her so that she (I assume) could try and see what she had perhaps previously done wrong and change things for the future then it would be rather pointless for people to sugar coat it too much.
Obviously in real life I don't think it would be very common for people to ask you to be that honest with them about what they may have 'done wrong' in their relationship/dealings/etc with you.
I wouldn't volunteer criticism like that to someone but if they were really trying to figure out what they might have been doing wrong in certain areas then maybe it could be a positive in the long run.0
