Morning everyone,
Hester Hope that you feel better soon.
Molly, LW, Lou Shoo to the BD.
nmlc Happy birthday for tomorrow, it is unlikely I will have time to post then.
Jools and Unclebryn Hugs.
A lovely pottering day planned today. I am taking DS to rugby practice and I have a few things to pick up for DD2s cookery lesson but apart from that I have nothing planned.
DD2 returns from holiday this evening, I am so looking forward to having her back.
Can't believe that the holidays are over already but I do feel refreshed and ready for work, let's hope that my pupils do too!
Have a lovely day everyone.:)0 -
Morning everyone.
Restless night here with kids, we've changed bedtime routine and it's making them more clingy when they wake at night. Ho hum will persevere with it likely to get worse before it gets better
Off swimming shortly. Not many OS plans, bit of house work etc.
Need to get back into swing of making lunches the night before for the kids, back to school for them tomorrow.
Tea will be sausages with the trimmings.
Hugs and spoons all round xxxI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Morning all
Hope everyone has a good day - and happy birthday to nmlc (all the best people are born in January)
Today will be the end of the cleaning, so that when I go back to work tomorrow at least I'll be coming home to a clean flat. Makes it a little better... Although I've just been reading the thread on window quilts and am very tempted to make one and see if it helps keep the flat warmer and cut down on the condensation - I have old, single glaze sash windows, which do nothing but leak heat and collect condensation, so anything to make that better would be a bonus. I've got a normal quilt that needs finishing first though, so I'll get that done to clear some space on my workbench!
Enjoy the remainder of the weekend everyone x*2016 - the year of the savings account!*

Morning all,
Dry here today :T have our bedding in the wm, so will get that on the line in a while.
DD is off out with her boyffor the day, and OH and will go walking this afternoon. I am going to put the breadmaker on this morning and make some soup, so dinner will be cauli + stilton soup with hm bread, looking forward to that.
Had a good clean through yesterday, so just need a quick tidy this morning, otherwise it can all wait till tomorrow.
Jools, how are you doing ? xx
Have good days all xxx0 -
Managed a whole hours sleep, been awake since half one! Have done 3 loads of washing, and read about 4 trashy books on the kindle, eyes burning! Cant settle this weekend, getting agitated when I'm doing nothing and feeling wierd, like a big anticlimactic emptiness. Hopefully we will begin to get into some sort of routine next week when the kids go back to work, DD back on Tuesday, not sure about DS yet, but I feel they need a bit of normality and some company ASAP.RIP Iain

Hi Jools, I can only send hugs, and hang on in there.
Been out for a walk this morning, trying to get back on track with a bit of exercise. It was misty, but not cold.
I'm doing a fish pie for lunch, have got more ironing, and packing up eBay parcels.
Hopefully, will also relax a bit as well, now Christmas is over there always seems something to do.Early retired - 18th December 2014
