  • Sorry a bit late joining this month, £160 as usual for me and OH, scraped in by pennies in Jan - just can't seem to get the bill down!

Started Feb well y'day with the weekly shop at less than £25.

Anyone looking for tins of tuna - Co-op have 4xtins (princes) for £3 but offer ends today. Best price I've seen so I got some yesterday plus a bit of YS veg.

So total so far only £28.83 but will need meat next week!

    im finding this really difficult.
spent £7.50 on rabbit food, hay and treats yesterday. and £0.75 on a tin of beans.

next month i think I'll have a separate pet budget.

need to pick up a few bits today as well- don't think i will be in budget this month

Keep going stargirl. It will get easier as you start to get to grips with planning ahead etc. and we all have the occasional blip now and again. I was over my budget last month but its helped me to set a more achievable budget for this month and do it in smaller steps.

    Hello everyone :)

I'm aiming for £150 for me dh and out two dogs for Feb. £30 a week for me and dh and £30 for the month for the dogs. Their food is £20 and the rest of chews and treats.

Not spent a penny so far, trying to use up as much as I can before heading to a supermarket. Currently have almost no veg apart from a savoy cabbage and a green cabbage, need to make something with those two....

Will update on my sig, you can add me to the list as well :T

    Zepsgal £150
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

£41.98 big weekly shop today - leaves us with £48.27 for the 2 weeks after that.... Hopefully it will all balance out!

Although I did spend yesterday making malt loaves x 2 (one for tin, one for freezer) & flapjack for the treats tin, and quiche (in quarters) and soup (5 portions) for my lunches at work, so this is nearly 2 weeks worth of lunch sorted! :D

I'm 100% on it this month, i've just been to Sainsbobs and remembered my list ( for the first time ever ) stuck to it 100% and came away with £17.20 worth of shopping, £9.30 in healthy start vouchers, and £7.50 in nectar points and only 40p cash used.

    For this i got

    1 x basics squash
    1 x 910g peas.
    1 x half a cuecumber.
    2.5kg potatoes.
    10 x satsumas.
    12 x bananas.
    1 x Bag of grapes.
    11 x apples.
    12 free range woodland eggs.
    8 x baked beans.
    2 x tinned peaches

looking at it listed it isn't much for the money, now i'm glad it only cost me 40p.
