Are there any 12 month fibre contracts?

Firenet appears to come with a twelve month contract, but they don't do an Unlimited option, and there's a rather hefty £89 setup fee.
My opinion is simply to ask the terms of the contract. Many FTTC contracts (and ADSL nowadays) are profit-forgone contracts. In otherword, the ISp can only charge you the profit that would have been made if you'd used the remaining 6 months. This is generally £6-7/month, or £36-42 for the remaining 6 month (bear in mind profit forgone contracts may also apply to phone, if taken on an 18 month contract). This is considerably cheaper than even the setup-fees for FTTC-only (ie no phone) installationsSorry, but the customer is not always right. Often, you're very very wrong.0 -

Somebody asked this question a few days ago and they found a company called yoursuresave broadband.
They do six month contracts which you can extend month by month and it's fibre too. Although I think you might have to ring them up and see if it is available in your postcode.I am a moneysaver0
